The main problem I have with Pop Punk MGK is that he’s just not a good singer. The songs are not bad, but his voice can’t keep up a little so you get a weird half scream voice.
from what i've seen most sum 41 fans including myself actually love screaming bloody murder, and consider either 13 voices or order in decline to be their weakest
Blink 182's Nine got me through a really hard time and is now one of my top 3 or 4 Blink albums now. I really don't care what anyone says bad about it that album is great. I think it's just one of those they just didn't do what people expected situations so everyone decided it was bad.
I gotta disagree with the simple plan album. The self titled is in my top 3 ever, though I will admit part of my love for it is personal bias and experience. Though i truly view they hit a special sound on that one, one that they couldn’t ever achieve again because the album sold poorly. Personally, it’s my favorite from them and I would pick it over their other releases. Especially taking one for the team and harder than it looks. Enjoyed the video!
i actually really like blink 182's NINE and greendays father of all, i dont know why but ive always loved over produced rock songs i dont have an explantion to why i just love them.
I'm a green day dick rider, trilogy and American are my favorite albums, and father of all sucked ass. I even like foxboro hot tubs and Longshot, still, father of all just does absolutely nothing for me.
I found Hit The Lights with Drop The Girl and then found the Stick Up album and loved both of those. Then when Invicta came out I know a majority hated it but I never understood why, I still really don't aside from the "This is different and we don't like change" thing. Took the next step musically it seemed and just all around my favorite of the catalogue, but hey! That's just me
Heres a controversial one: Brand New's "Your Favorite Weapon". The songs sound-wise are just okay. The main problem is the lyrics, theyre either typical teenage angst or just plain toxic, especially toward women. And considering Jesse Lacey's allegations, it makes most of this album age like milk.
Really poor title for this video. Theres about 400 albums that you could get into. Idve called it "Really Terrible Pop Punk Albums Vol. 1" and then do a whole series... The Father of All, I agree still makes no sense. Its hard to think of another artist, although I think the Beatles released some weird stuff at some points, they also have 20 releases for different countries.
Everything blink has put out from Neighborhoods onwards sucks. They're a legacy act built upon how nostalgic and influential their earlier material (DR/Enema/TOYPAJ) is.
I'm sorry but in what universe does Tickets To My Downfall sound even remotely anything like Pop Punk from the early 2000s? His voice and singing style alone entirely destroys this claim.
Don't you dare bash Pretty odd! That album is really good, it only got smacked because they did something different. The songs on the album are really good
00:00 Intro
00:33 MGK
02:39 Simple Plan
05:17 Sum 41
08:17 Blink 182
10:24 Hit The Lights
12:59 Green Day
The MGK one really isn't that bad. But people hate MGK as a person, and people have trouble seperating art from the artist

Not for me. Even if MGK was the most likeable person on the planet I'd still think his music is complete garbage.
IM IN LOVE WITH AN EMO GIRL
His voice is atrocious. Just kills many songs
Not only is he unlikable, he's unrelatable. He's not true to himself. Why tf should I care about art that isn't true...
Screaming bloody murder should never be on a "worst" list
The Sum 41 album was also about his alcoholism. He's still friends with Avril.

I like sbm more than most. Just never see people talking about it. Can't wait till the vinyl comes out.

Can I song actually be overproduced if it's supposed to be realesed that way?
@@craig2196 true, I think the term over produced gets thrown around too much I just use it because it just means more poppy
@@Kaijuismonster I have to say it. Have we listened to all the small things? That is one of the poppiest songs to ever exist.
@@craig2196 lol this is off topic but take off your pants and jacket is kinda just a reboot of enema of the state
Tickets To My Downfall is one of my favorite albums of all time idc
Good sir, you need to upload more reviews 😊. Your Menzinger takes are golden! Would love to see you cover Social Distortion!

Hit the Lights is great! I'm glad to hear someone talk about them
very underrated!
Tickets To My Downfall has many bangers, great chill good summer vibes, emotional moments and cool production

People love to hate because it’s trendy. TTMD is a great album.
I love on some emo shit.
Nine was great. California was the terrible one.
Skiba-era rules.
Nine it’s one of my favorite blink albums
tom comes back to blink and they immediately go from their worst to a second peak
I feel like if MGK released NINE instead of blink-182, it would've been received a lot different.

I mean TTMD is a solid album but Mainstream Sellout (or born with horns or whatever) is a bad album.

the title is "worst pop-punk albums" and then procede to talk about albums that are NOT pop-punk and say theyre bad because theyre not pop-punk wtf?
blink-182 has NEVER made a bad album.
1. Panic at the Disco - Pretty Odd
2. Saves the Day - In Reverie
Two ☝🏻 of the most disappointing follow up albums ever.
WRONG
Don't you dare bash Pretty odd! That album is really good, it only got smacked because they did something different. The songs on the album are really good
Pretty odd is not even pop punk 😂
