You have quickly become one of my top 2 content creators on TH-cam and I haven’t watched these videos for long. I love; love, love skin care and have tried tons of brands with every product start to finish. One of my fav things to do is find the perfect skin tints to mix into my moisturizers because I don’t wear foundation except for special occasions. I’d love to chat if you’d like some tips and tried and trues: ❤thanks for being you, loving every minute!
I love the Tir Tir milky toner and ceramic cream coz I can see the difference in the hydration of my skin. Definitely HG products for dry dehydrated sensitive skin.
I just did my skincare routine. Perfect timing. I use the Fenty milky fat water toner and the D’Alba spray as well. I use other things you didn’t mention but I swear with my routine, my skin isn’t dry anymore.
Most underrated winter skin product is Danessa Myricks moisture balm serum. Unreal how good my skin feels with this on. My face isn’t tight but the end of the day and that’s a miracle!
Great tips! I need coverage in the winter as my face turns even more pale, the dray patches and cheeks turn red when I'm out. I also still need spf. Thin layers are always better while I'm on the end of my 40's. I use creams a lot lately and underpaint with it. I only use powder with a light hand after that to set and adjust and finetune my look.
Thx for the tip on the Kiehls Morgan ! I looked into them the other day and the do also have an oil-free gel/cream for those who have SUPER SENSITIVE skin as well!! I just ordered a bunch of Clinique and it arrives tomorrow!! Im super excited...and nervous! Wish me luck!! Ty Morgan
The Summer Fridays balm doesn't hang on to my lips 😔 But I did buy Allie Glines' new lip serum, and it stays on all night long! I was pleasantly surprised when i started using it as my bedtime lip product.
Good to know. I’m going to have to try it. I’ve wanted to try Allie”s makeup but I’ve tried to stick to a no buy (unless for others) 😂 for the month. Thanks for the recommendation
@bhenderson4891 I put it on last night before bed, and I still haven't had to reapply yet this morning. I'm not a fan of really thick or heavy products, so I'm glad I tried this serum.
I thought i was going to finally see you put on a full coverage foundation after putting all that down. I would like to see it one day. love the look its amazing.
For my skin prep I do (I have dry /combo skin + rosacea) haruharu wonder toner, light layer of any moisturizer, wait a minute or two, then go in with the milani smoothing primer! I find this method has work for me to give me hydration and also blurring/smoothing the pores on my t-zone…all while not looking like a pink greased naked rat after my makeup is done. but I’m now for sure going to try that kiehls cream for my extremely dry spots during this time of year!
I mix the Ilia with most of my foundations, too! I’m so glad you mentioned that it goes bad quickly because mine smells so bad and I thought I was going crazy 😭
I’ve stopped using so many skin care products. I blend my own oil with grapeseed, olive oil and fig oil to use as a makeup cleanser at night and as a nighttime moisturizer. I have sensitive skin so I don’t want to use so many products but I do use the ordinary serums day and night and love Kiehls products. Lovin all your uploads Miss Morgan. You’re the only one I watch consistently.
Great recommendations! I absolutely love the Rèphr Gentle Cleanser and the Rèphr Rebalancing Essence (milky toner). The Rèphr toner combined with the Lisa Eldridge skin tint has been keeping my skin from looking dry and flakey in the cold weather.
I my skin definitely goes more dry in the winter and I like to do the more heavy moisturizing and hydrating parts of my skincare over night so it fully sinks into and works into my skin overnight before makeup so what change in my routine for this is I add in the inkey list oat balm cleanser as a first cleanse for both a moisture barrier mask and makeup cleanser and let it sit on my skin like a mask during my shower before I cleanse it off with my next cleanser the inkey list fulvic acid cleanser, then a gentle daily exfoliant with some hydration to it every 2 days instead of everyday , followed a deep vitamin enriched moisturizer overnight and eye mask/cream over night as well then for makeup prep itself I go in with the inkey list omega water cream moisturizer let it fully soak into my skin for 10 to 15 mins or more if I can, then I change the setting powder I use from the Kosas cloud set to the nars light reflecting pressed setting powder
2:44 you gotta try the new HARUHARU WONDER barrier essence it’s even better than the ILIA sooooooooo hydrating it’s like a milky toner moisturizer it’s perfect in the am with the HHW Sunscreen … they have excellent products too the oil cleanser is also my H grail favorite 🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍
I seriously miss videos like this! Reminds me of old school TH-cam and I’m here for it!!! Tips and tricks and just helpful videos, ah I love it girl thank you ❤❤❤ love a fellow dry skin girlie who’s feeling the tight skin 😂😂😂
Thanks again for your hard work! My winter saviors - Chanel UV Essential - moisturizer SPF and excellent primer all in one. AND Jack Black Intense lip balm spf 25 (has replaced my City Lips addiction and great under lipstick) have a great day ❤
Hourglass palette is the best, it might be little pricey but it has everything you need. Also love my summer fridays lip hot cocoa omg so good recommend def. Lately using o/s powder which I'm loving as well. My top foundation pick is Dior this year and concealer kulfi for sure
Every evening, Morgan, put about 7 layers of toner on your face, neck, and decolletage, then follow with the rest of your routine but try to include exfoliating followed by a creamy mask 3 times a week and just doing those basic steps you will see a huge difference in your skin especially in this weather and always use an eye cream twice a day because if you don't you will start seeing crepeness and fine lines around the eye area and in your job it's crucial that you don't. I really have got to try Kiehls moisturiser. Everyone seems to be recommending it. Thank you, lovely 🥰🌟
Laneige sleeping mask 💯 I used to get chronic angular cheilitis (cracks in lip corners) and tried antibiotics, anti fungals, every other lip balm. This cured my lips. I also used the slightly thinner formula in the tube for in the go. I will not be without it
I have very dry, sensitive, menopausal skin that got even drier after I started using tret last year. I tried every moisturizer and serum known to man. None of them lasted more than a few hours. Then I discovered Vanicream vitamin C serum. It’s fragrance free and less than $20. It has a gentle form of vitamin C that doesn’t cause irritation. All I do now is spray my face with a hydrating mist, dot on some Vanicream, and my face stays dewy all day. I use it at night too. I stopped using everything else but that and my tret
i don’t think a lot of people talked about that sigma skin tint bc it has only 6 shades and even you said it has more coverage than other skin tints which means it’s hard for people to find their shade if they even have one.
Totally agree - why aren’t more people talking about the Sigma skin tint? It’s the best!! I’ve tried so many - and a lot of them are great - but it just beats them all.
I have the Kiehls moisturizer, and I've given it several chances, but it irritates my skin! I don't understand, I thought it was supposed to be gentle?? It's so frustrating.
I think the skincare portion you add here is really interesting and important. I always appreciate you talking about your skin prep, esp as a dry skin lad. The Venn diagram for skincare and makeup is almost a circle, because makeup affects your skincare and skincare affects your makeup. So for me it’s not a portion of your videos I’ll ever skip, always appreciate your input both in makeup and it’s adjacent topics (ie skincare) 🫶💕
Wintertime is the best time to start slugging in the evenings; finish your nighttime skincare with a thicker occlusive balm or ointment to seal in the moisture and hydration from your serums and moisturizer. Your skin will wake up so soft, radiant, glowy, and smooth the next morning.
hi morgan! did you try the Embryolisse unscented cream? i was thinking about buying this version since i also have sensitive skin, but lmk if even the unscented version can cause break outs! tysm💞💞
I have both Summer Fridays and Ole Henriksen lip balms and I find Ole Henriksen one sooo much better. It's thicker, stays on the lips for so long and is much more moisturizing. I have very dry lips after accutane and Ole Hendriksen lip balm is keeping them plump and hydrated. I highly recommend it. Summer fridays lip balm is not that good for me, it doesn't stay on my lips and it's not moisturizing enough.
Hey Morgan! Enjoying your content as a new sub :) Can I just tell you sth hilarious, I now can report why the HB 'Bombrow' was like 80% off. The packaging for the product is literally a mind game- a hexagon that only closes in a very specifc way, every time you need to close either side of the lids of the product! And it's very hard to figure out each time. What were they thinking!!I don't mind AT ALL for that price however hahaha.
Hey Morgan, I love your content on TH-cam. I'm travelling from India to UK, can you please guide me on how to carry my eyeshadow palettes? I have about 8-10 eyeshadow palettes so should i keep them in carry-on luggage or the check-in luggage?
It must be me but I have samples of the danessa myricks tint and it looks soooo dry on me. And my skin is not even dry yet. 😭 my prep is soo good but like... what am I doing wrong?! Everything else looks lovely on me
Agree. I got samples of the Danessa Myrecks Yummy Skin Tint and the Hourglass tint. The Yummy tint doesn't agree with my skin - cracky, dry, etc. Try the Hourglass - I had a lot better luck with it and am planning to pick it up before the 20% off sale ends at Sephora.
I live in Colorado and my skin has become extremely dry over 40. The only moisturizer that does a thing is IT Cosmetics Confidence in a Cream. I tried the Kiehls in a sample just recently and, nope...still dry as a bone with it on. So frustrating.
ND concealer is great on my face, but VERY dry on my under eyes. I use as small amount as possible and it looks crepe-y and looks heavy once it dries. I don't even have problem undereyes or dry skin...
I love tinted moisturisers and BB creams for winter as well, with Heimish Moringa and Missha being my two go to ones. I do prefer slightly dewy foundations though
Morgan where is your sunscreen? 😳😳😳😳😳😳. Gurrrlllll always wear sunscreen no matter what. I’ve ruined my skin from not using sunscreen. No matter how much product you use! You’re too gorgeous!
@@cathysigler4263dermatologists and other healthcare professionals strongly suggest at least 35% and 50% is better! I love the Confidence in an Eye Cream!

I love the ilia as well in the winter. I love my Dior glow now too. Saie bronzers and my new favorite the Clinique mascara.
love futuredew! love mixing it with foundation for glass skin looks
The Clinique Moisture Surge moisturizer is amazing for when you have dry skin it also comes in an intense version

I love ur tips & tricks! Unfortunately the ND concealer didn't work for my extremely dry skin & undereyes but I love the Dior concealer!
Thank god for this video because my skin is so dry and crinkly. MN winters are no joke 😂
As a dry skin girly myself I love me some hydration lol 😂
Gotta try this ND concealer. I added it to my wishlist when you did your best concealer video a few weeks ago but still haven't tried it yet

Same!
Same. I was beginning to think it was just me since everyone raves on it.
Same. I returned mine.
Use Vaseline lipstick under your eyes as a base. It helps me.
Is the blush shade - sunkissed pink? I don’t see one just called sunkissed
What do you use in your crazy baby hairs? I also have them and they annoy me a lot!!!
