Morgan, you turned me on to the…. WET AND WILD TINTED HYDRATOR , $6 , IN THE LIGHT AQUA TUBE. IT IS SO BEAUTIFUL ON MY NORMAL TO DRY SKIN . THE CLAIM IS SHEER TO MEDIUM … It’s definitely light to medium coverage and it’s beautiful satiny with just a touch of DEW finish. LOADED WITH SKINCARE INGREDIENTS AND AGAIN IT’S COST $6 I wore this all winter when my skin was at his driest and it was beautiful❤ I’m a make up snob and I’ve never bought anything from wet and wild. I gave it a try because my skin type and texture is similar to yours. .. I love it❤ thank you for featuring that product or else I would have never even glanced at it..
The Fenty Soft lit foundation is absolutely phenomenal. Upon the very first application of that, I knew any other foundation I own will sadly expire without getting any more use.
I really appreciate you stating that we all have different skin types and preferences. I get sick of people in the comments attacking influencers, when they don't agree with their opinion of something. Everyone needs to realize we aren't all of the same. Thank you for this video.
Thanks for taking one for the team, Morgan. Of all the foundations you tried, I only have experience with the Haus Labs and I love it. I’m extremely dry, with fair and mature skin. You deserve an award.🥇 for your effort.
Thank you Morgan; you must have read my mind b/c I have been looking around for a new foundation. I am 57 with drier/normal skin and it has been difficult to find one where negative reviews don't scare me off.
I have very dry skin as well. Surprisingly, the classic bareMinerals loose powder foundation where you use the kabuki brush and buff it in worked better than any liquid. It doesn’t emphasize any patches or skin. Maybe give that one a try if you haven’t tried it in a while.
The ones I'd purchase as oily skin: - O/S might be an option, it's expensive but "meant for oily skin", might try it - ELF foundations (cheap goodness, a must) - NYX blurry tint foundation (cheap perfection, obviously a must) - Haus Labs (expensive, better than Dior backstage, must) - About Face (kinda expensive) - Glossier Stretch Fluid Foundation (it would be either this or the AF foundation, idk if it's worth the +12$) - Laura Mercier (expensive but worth it) - Fenty Beauty Luminous foundation (expensive but worth it) For specific uses: GLASS SKIN - Make Up Forever HD Skin Hydra Glow For specific uses: WATER EVENTS (pool party, beach party, water park) - Urban Decay Face Bond Self Setting Waterproof foundation
I am 45 with dry skin Patrick Ta is my favorite of all the foundation i have ever tried. It’s so soft and smooth. I have seen several videos where people hate it, but it works perfect for me.
CT Beautiful skin has a perfect match for me when im most tan. Im nc50 when that tan and it is one of the only foundations that is neutral undertone for that deep. For reference, favorite foundation is luminous silk.
A few products that aren’t in this video, but have been the absolute best products for my sensitive, dry, aging but still acne prone, neutral-fair skin have been (in no particular order): 1. Pixi H2O Skin Tint (Vanilla) 2. Clarins Tinted Oleo-Serum (01) 3. L’Oréal True Match Tinted Serum (I mix 0.5-2 Very Light with 2-3 Light) 4. Milani Glow Hydrating Skin Tint (Fair-Light) 5. Maybelline Perfector 4-in-1 Glow (01 Light) 6. Revlon Illuminance Skin Caring Foundation (117) ❤️Love your videos! You’ve definitely saved me time and $ 🥰
Urban Decay and Fenty Beauty Soft'Lit were two of the best foundations in this video. Urban Decay glided like a glove to your complexion! I love UD products from their primers to foundations, and eyeshadows. Also, the very last one, Fenty Beauty Soft'Lit Naturally Luminous looked phenomenal on you, and I just ordered that one on Sephora based on this video ❤❤Thank you, Morgan.
for some reason my skin doesn't like foundation sticks, it has to be something with the formulation or something cus it always look dry and kinda patchy on me regardless of the claims nevertheless I do love matte or satin finishes on me that gets me through an entire shift at work. love your reviews xoxo
Thanks so much for doing this video. I have super dry skin, so I know how you must feel trying on all these foundations. I recently purchased the Makeup Forever HD. I was torn between this one and the Glossier.
Thanks Morgan for sacrificing your skin! I have a few foundations that I work between. One of my fav's is Haus Labs - beautiful natural everyday foundation. My favourite for a glam evening is Armani Luminous silk. I'm playing around for summer time coverage trying different skin tints. I'm 51 with combination skin. 😊
What foundations for mature dry skin would you recommend for FULL coverage? So tired of seeing skin tints and light/medium coverage. I need full coverage and haven’t found a great one.
Rem sweetener foundation is one of my favorites! I have normal-oily skin, in my mid 30s with some pores and prefer fuller coverage matte foundation and this gives me great coverage and wears well all day.
Not only are we shade twins, but we are so similar in that I have dry skin. Almost all the foundations you love I also really enjoy. Fenty's soft lit is my favorite currently. Do you enjoy the Armani Luminous Silk? I just tried it and so far I am really enjoying it as well. Haus labs is also a top one for me as well. It has such a beautiful finish and longevity. Thank you for this video.
The soft lit Fenty foundation is absolutely beautiful and I agree, this is the only Fenty foundation that I have liked. I don’t care for their skin tint, in either form and the original foundation was waaaaay too matte. This new one is perfection. I do enjoy the Fenty concealers, both of them!! I also love the About Face foundation! So pretty! I have mature skin and these two work great. I want to try the Haus Labs and the Glossier!
You are right about the Fenty stick foundation. I agree totally. Does the same to me. I won’t purchase it again, however, I just use it to spot conceal, but I cannot wear it all over my face . It’s kind of drying on me, even with Lot of prep.
The Laura Mercier foundation has become a holy grail for me. I have oily skin, and it sets beautifully and responds well with powders. I have pores that show no matter what I use, and I require powder. Alao, the foundation doesn't get goopy with powders. Basically, it stays put when set with powder and survives the humid weather of Atlanta, Georgia. The LM is so everyday friendly!
I love the HAUS LABS concealer. I find that it doesn't dry my skin at all, even when I let it sit. I'll definitely be trying the foundation I'm sure they'll pair perfectly!
I have combo oily skin and the Haus labs foundation works very well. I also like Estee Lauders Double Wear stay in place foundation for long wear and on camera/film it looks flawless.
I LOVE the new fenty soft lit foundation. I have dry skin, chefs kiss 💋. I cried with this on, actual tears ran down my cheeks I did not have to fix my makeup. My tears dried and I was good to go....❤😊
I tried the urban decay at your previous recommendation. And you were soo right! I am almost 60 combin skin snd acne prone. Beautiful and flawless on my skin and little effort. Thank you!❤
I tried all of Elf's foundations but I got say with my oily/acne prone skin the Elf Camo Hydrating CC Cream never broke me out and was so full coverage. The original Camo CC Cream did cause irritation to my skin which is weird and I can't wait to try the Elf Soft Glam Foundation. Makeup Revolution's Skin Silk Serum Foundation I do want try and same with the NYX Bare With Me Blur Tint Soft Matte Foundation but I'm not sure if it's going cause me to break out.
I have had good luck with the fenty stick, but you’re right it’s not super moisturizing. For me, it does sink in after a bit, but I layer the fenty over a serum instead of a primer so maybe that helps🤷♀️
Phenomenal video! The best I have enjoyed in ages. I absolutely agree with your no. 1, I get excited every morning I apply it - the before and after is just jaw dropping. Hope your skin enjoys a nourishing mask after this, thanks for your service!!
I really appreciate your dedication and hard work. from spending to trying products so us can make an informed decision. You know which kind of foundation has fallen behind the “viral” trends? mineral foundation whether is pressed or loose, I have recently fallen in love again with mineral loose powder foundation, stands heat well, and doesn’t dry my mature skin ❤
Hi Morgan! Very useful video, thank you! In my opinion, some of them look better when applied with a sponge ( for example, the Charlotte Tilbury one is beautiful on me with a sponge but too heavy with a brush…) 💖
My sister has dry skin, and she just picked up the lancome double wear foundation for her wedding, I can't wait to see the next video with your opinions on that! Next, we need to figure out her prep- toner, serums, sunscreen, and primer
Hi Megan, great video. Would you make a video about the best foundations of all times? I am slowly going through mine inventory and I do not know what to buy next ❤
For my dry skin i will use estee lauder double wear or Tom ford shade and illuminate, those are the only two will last on my dry skin, after trying all these new foundations believe me i have tried and tried working twelve hours a day as a registered nurse in a dry atmosphere too , i don’t seem to get a break , but with these two i can actually have a cleanser to take some make off ! which warms my soul ! good luck ladies my love liz xxx forgive me they are expensive but double wear is the cheapest , but its very nice .
Omg Morgan! What Ana amazing video thank you for this. Always love your honest reviews. What do you think of the ND Powder Foundation? I just picked it up during ND’s sale.
Thank you so much for this video. I have been having such a a hard time finding a foundation. I have a disability that makes it hard to go to the store and try things. I loved this. ❤
I want to try the NYX foundation based on your review, but the shade range is awful for cool toned and true neutral complexions. I think other than the 3 lightest shades everything is warm and is so yellow.
I definitely have to get the new Fenty luminous foundation. I hated the original. I have texture and scars. I have a real problem with feeling like foundation makes my skin look worse.
I’m sure Beautiful Skin is a great foundation but I am extremely allergic to rose oil. Please review Juvia’s Place foundation and I’l Makiage foundation.
Youre our here doing the lords work. Thank you. From the bottom of my heart for this. Youre such a trooper. Your hard work doesnt go unnoticed Morgan🏆🏆#️⃣1️⃣
I loved this video. My mature combo skin loves the Makeup Forever for every day and the One Size on sweaty days. I liked but didn’t love the Glossier and the About Face.

I completely agree on the Fenty tint. It just DOES NOT sink in no matter what.
Thanks for taking one for the team, Morgan. Of all the foundations you tried, I only have experience with the Haus Labs and I love it. I’m extremely dry, with fair and mature skin. You deserve an award.🥇 for your effort.

The ones I'd purchase as oily skin:
- O/S might be an option, it's expensive but "meant for oily skin", might try it
- ELF foundations (cheap goodness, a must)
- NYX blurry tint foundation (cheap perfection, obviously a must)
- Haus Labs (expensive, better than Dior backstage, must)
- About Face (kinda expensive)
- Glossier Stretch Fluid Foundation (it would be either this or the AF foundation, idk if it's worth the +12$)
- Laura Mercier (expensive but worth it)
- Fenty Beauty Luminous foundation (expensive but worth it)
For specific uses: GLASS SKIN
- Make Up Forever HD Skin Hydra Glow
For specific uses: WATER EVENTS (pool party, beach party, water park)
- Urban Decay Face Bond Self Setting Waterproof foundation

The Makeup Revolution Revolve or whatever serum foundation that’s $5 at Walmart is FANTASTIC! I like it better than the silk skin one

The L’Oréal true match looks so flattering on you!!!
Agreed on the Fenty stick foundation.
