You need a string or thread or the actual hair extension piece (like what she used)
1) gather the braids then loop the string around the top to secure it.
2) now wrap the string/thread around the batch of braids as you see her do…OR you do a normal two strand twist motion (this will literally give you the same result)
3) when you get to the end PUSH up the bigger part (batch of braids) and it will bundle up like you see in the video.
4) make a knot at the end with the string to secure it (you will have to cut it at the end)
5) dip in very hot water and leave a few minutes to cool
6) when you’re ready cut the ends/where the knot is
It’s an old school technique and really nice I think.
