@vandyvanity did you glue the ends of the hair with nail glue where the braid stops before using the flexi rods and hot water? I am just wondering how to prevent the braid from unraveling? or will the hot water automatically stop it from unraveling on its own?

THE YARN METHOD👏 first time seeing it, just tried it- perfect curls. I used a metal straw to put the string through so it slid up easily. IM. IN. LOVE. Throwing away the flexirods🤣

Very informative video! I liked and saved it because you were one of the only stylists whose video I viewed, that actually went in to detail about every part of the process...down to the time that you should keep the hair in the water. I am not a stylist, but wanted to make sure I explained to my braider what I wanted effectively. Also, if I choose to do the wavy part myself (after I get it braided), I needed to see a play-by-play so I don't mess up. Do you mind sharing the brand of hair you used?
