@@pastorjreeves when The Lord called me to live Holy and delivered me from sin on 04/14/2024 He gave me these exact scriptures regarding my cry out, plea, and specific prayers and petitions:
Exodus 6:1-8, Psalm 130, and Matthew 10:42-45. I don't know if they will help you but I know if you call on His Name and cry out to Him with all that's within you He will answer! When He answers you open your heart and let Him in for there is no sorrow that Heaven cannot heal 🙏🏾

No, you can’t… In 2008, I was a gay-identified man, in a committed, monogamous same-sex relationship, active in an affirming church, where we called ourselves gay Christians. Then I found myself in an ICU where the medical team classified me clinically dead after a 22-minute flatline. I experienced death, judgement and hell. When I couldn’t take any more demonic torment, I cried out in repentance, “Jesus!” and I heard the Savior say, “I am here.” At that moment, I saw with my eyes the Wind of the Holy Spirit fill my ICU and with great power, He pick up Satan and the demonic and blew them out of the room. On that day, my life changed, the redemptive Blood of Jesus cleared my mind of perversion and completely healed and restored every failing organ. Glory to God!

Hell is full of people
The Lord delivered me from being an active practicing lesbian of more than 32 years. I'd been saved since I was 7, I was baptized at 7 and 19. The Lord delivered me within Salvation but I wasn't walking in deliverance.
On 04/14/2024 The Lord called me, delivered me, counseled me, guided me, instructed me, esteemed me, and affirmed me as the Godly Woman He called me to be.
The Lord's primary call and concern is Salvation via The Lord Jesus Christ= Living Holy via The Holy Spirit= the Righteousness of GOD!
How sad. We should not base what is right and wrong on the opinions of Bronze Age men with antiquated beliefs about sexuality.
The undeniable fact is sexuality is a spectrum, and some people are broken LGTBQ+ plus as part of that spectrum. They deserve love, dignity, happiness, and support, not that their sexuality is evil.

I am currently engaged to a woman that I really really love. I’ve been with her for six years and I feel like I could spend a lifetime with her. I recently regained an interest in the Lord and in Christianity. I feel like I’m stuck in choosing between the God I’m trying to know and love and the human who is physically here everyday loving me. It’s such a painful (extremely to be honest) place to be. Please send prayers for me. I also have two kids who adore her. I don’t know how to break up a family with someone I love but I also love Jesus.
Jesus loves you as you are, you don't need to pick or change. I'm so sorry that the bible has been misused & misinterpreted to confuse & hurt you. Just continue to seek God, & he will comfort you. Also there are churches out there that will support you, regardless of sexuality. I go to a Methodist Church and love it! I've learned so much more about God & the Bible with more historical context as well than I ever did at a more traditional Lutheran church. A lot of people might disagree, but they don't determine my or your salvation. I love the Jesus I've come to know & I hope you can find rest in him. ❤

You might go read Rosaria Butterfield's book or listen to her on yt. She was a feminist lesbian professor of queer theory who got saved. It cost her all of her friends and her job. Count rhe cost.

Please please please hear me: you are deeply loved. Your kids are loved by God!!! When you think about your love for them, multiply it by a really big number - that’s how much God loves them …and you, and the lady you mentioned. Whatever God is asking you to do, it is for the good of all four of you. Trust him. Lean on him. Even when you decide to be obedient don’t rely on your own strength (let Him give you the strength and the tact and the wisdom and the peace).

@@SeanhueyI think you are misunderstanding. If you are spreading the gospel to people who have same sex attraction, you are not going to lead them to Christ by telling them to be straight. You preach the gospel, Jesus opens their heart, and through conviction through the Holy Spirit they will bring forth fruit and won’t practice it.

I think what we don’t discuss regarding homosexuality, heterosexuality, and essentially all sexuality and just sin in general is that many of these things transpire via generational curses, abuse, neglect, trauma, demonic influence, and lack of knowledge. All of these things come chock full of spirits, which then means that there is a component of spiritual warfare. We never fully unpack it. We only go surface level. There’s so many layers to unpack.
It’s never a quick fix, microwaveable situation.
What we eat, watch, think, speak, listen to, our associations, our upbringing, the things that we do and don’t all matter.
Especially our relationship and closeness to Christ and our service to Him.
Lord we need you because you are love and we need more of it because it leads to true understanding, courage, education, empathy, compassion, trust, kindness, and truly getting to the root of all problems.
We can’t do this without you God.
I plead the blood of Jesus Christ over humanity, for us to all know and serve you. Hear from Heaven God and heal this land.

I was so blessed by Richard's prayer at the end because I have been struggling with depression, anxiety, unaliving thoughts and when he continued to say God loves you, sees you and you're meant to speak up and write that book and he has plans for you. I felt like he was talking directly to me.

This message was literally one of the best messages I’ve heard I was TRULY blessed by hearing it. This message IS NOT just about homosexuality but ALL SIN. I love how God is using this young man to spread the LOVE of God and not hate.

Jesus advocates religion, pure religion that is. The world has tried to demonize that word, but if we let the Word interpret itself, we will realize how beautiful it's meant to be. Unfortunately many have misrepresented it, including myself. Being a Christian includes growth and that is a personal journey for all of us.
Relationship not religion. Religion is a heartless devotion while relationship is a spiritual intimacy. Jesus was opposed to the religious Pharisees for this very reason. They never knew God but they walked the walk, so to speak.

I do hope that people are watching the video before commenting too. But how is it self-righteous to know and quote the Bible? It's what God says. We're to be obedient to Him and to spread the message of salvation and repentance.
Matthew’s testimony is powerful. So many church goers who still have that guilty pleasure need to hear this. I had a similar experience overcoming my personal vice and I resonate so well with the principle of knowing what is right but doing what isn’t (Paul in Romans 7).

Yes I hear you about the title. At the 22 minute mark they talk about evil and that evil comes from the devil. So this is my question - if God is good and all knowing, why did he create the devil. If he knew the devil would be evil why create the devil? Does that make God part evil and good? How can God be good?

The devil was a wonderful and beautiful creation of God who started to “smell himself” (in the words of my grandmother) wanted to be worshipped like God and rebelled against God. It was his choice to rebel and wanted to create his own kingdom. Book of Revelationbut I wouldn’t start there.

This is just a reminder to make sure your statements are aligning with scripture. Making statements that don't align with scripture could cause someone to be led astray.
Thankful for his testimony. I went through the exact same thing. I love that follows God and recognizes that the church needs to be better about talking about tough testimonies but nonetheless deliverance from sin.
Its a difference in Struggling with these sins and seeking to be free, And Taking pride in it, which so many gays do...Not just lgbtq though...Any Sin!!!

My heart is breaking right now as I listen to the story. I’ve been struggling with porn use for 11 years. I’m still praying for deliverance. I was one of those kids that grew up around the church but not necessarily in the church. And definitely not in God‘s word. I believe what Jesus did and what he showed us he did for our sins, but I am still a long way away from where I’m supposed to be. Thank you for the story. It’s definitely giving me the opportunity to take another look at things. I ask for your prayers.
Read the Word like your life depends on it.
The best place to start is by fully believing who Jesus is and his love for you. It’s when you get to that place where you feel intimacy with him and trust in him where you can surrender things to him and he will begin to move in mighty ways. Do not lean on your own understanding but in all things through prayer submit your mind to the Lord❤

The bottom line is that having same-sex attractions is a sin like any other one, it's what we do with the sin that is the real heart issue. Lecrae nailed it when he said, "It's a human thing". People can struggle with this sin and not act upon it. Our walk is a marathon, not a sprint, as is, the sanctification process. It's a process! Praise God he chooses to not abide in the struggle of his sin. It is a choice! All glory to God for his sanctification and the redeeming power of grace in this man's life.....🙌

Same-sex attraction is NOT a sin. I wish people would stop spreading that lie. The issues go beyond the attraction...that's the part that is the sin...not the attraction itself. The Bible continuously gets misinterpreted and it's harming people.

Without even joking this interview should be an instruction manual for how to approach this topic. It hits on all the right approaches of letting God doing the conviction and and not approaching with condemnation. Leading with Jesus for the restoration of the whole person.
And we as believers who dont struggle with that sin as a society, create stumbling blocks when ppl see through our hypocritical judgment. Studies show that a whopping 3/4 Christian men struggle with kornography at least on a monthly basis. And that's not even including lusting after thirst traps on social media so who knows that number could be higher. When ppl of the LGBT community see we have the same energy for ALL forms of lust, the one that statistically is the prevailing one for us, that level of sincerity makes it more difficult for the enemy to keep ppl away from embracing the Truth.

I am a witness. I've seen a homosexual confesssed his desire in front of the congregation. He asked for the brothers in Christ to pray for him. Afterwards he consistently attended church and decided to go to Bible College. To this day he is striving to be more Christ like.
“ I knew of God, but I didn’t have a relationship with me.” The best of his testimony is when he stated “ I had a personal experience. “ now that is not debatable at no cost.
Can you be a Homosexual Christian? No, because will always convict you.
Jesus says come as you are but you can't stay that way. Can't live a righteous life and serve a Righteous God and live in Sin and that is any and all Sin... Your goal is to get Delivered.
God won't allow you to do both if you are trully living for the Lord. If you have been saved long enough you will not want to continue in a Life of Sin.

It’s a unique struggle for those in it to receive deliverance because it’s one of those sins that entangle your identity. Can you be a Christian and be unapologetically gay and still lead that lifestyle unrepentantly pursuing homosexual intimacy/sex? No. Same way you can’t be a functioning alcoholic unapologetically and be a true Christian. You can put any sin in that blank and if you’re unrepentant about it and try to justify it and fit it into your identity. It’s gotta come to a point of deliverance. That does NOT mean it’s expected to be an overnight transition after accepting Christ. What matters is that you recognize that it is a sin, that you were not in the correct way, and that you CAN be healed and delivered if that sin. And it’s possible with the Lord. But I think it’s harmful that we add more weight to being gay as a sin and how that affects salvation as opposed to other sins and their effect. I can imagine that it’s a stumbling block to people that are gay/trans that we sprinkle extra hell on their sin as opposed to others. All sin leads to separation from God. Lying, gluttony, addiction, hatred, lust, homosexuality, witchcraft, etc. its the same Satan. But to round it back up, you can be saved and be recovering but not in full practical deliverance, but be pursuing the change and relying fully on Jesus. Once you accept Him, and repent of ALL your sin, you are no longer identified with that sin, you’re in the process of dying to it and leaving it behind. Traces may try lingering but the Holy Spirit works the sanctification in us as we grow in Him. No sin can stand in the way of the BLOOD! Amen
I've never met someone who stopped having same sex attraction because it's a real thing and NOT a sin. You are attracted to what you are attracted to - that's not a sin in and of itself. This lie is harmful in so many ways. IT has nothing to do with the attraction - (and this part is for homosexual and hetersexual people) it's what you DO sexually that be perverse and not of God! That applies to anyone - has nothing to do with who you are attracted to! Yet, I notice heterosexuals like to leave themselves out of the conversation as if they don't have perverse practices. Even if a person was homosexual and didn't act on it - their feelings remained the same. They were still same sex attracted because that IS who they are. Those feelings don't go away....not acting on it does't change anything.
Great break down! You right, the world pushes this agenda of homosexuality hard but doesn’t mean we as Christians need to push more hard with the gospel. Like any sin, preach that we all sin but there is forgiveness and new life in Christ!

I feel like I am you. God has been holding me through unemployment. He called me out of my sin just like you. I didn’t understand his love growing up bc of the condemnation that I was raised around. My family may not understand but I know my journey is different bc I don’t want to condemn and I’m asking him to show me how to move. Thank you Rich and I love how you’re trusting him financially. For the sake of argument. The issue of a " Gay " christian is the knowledge of the Word of God knowing its an abomination to God and YET still practice and choose to live the lifestyle.

Definitely hasn't ever been misused like treating it as an alliance between families, or a way to make money/goods through dowry by treating the new spouse as an economic liasion, or to cover up the act of premarital sex, or to avoid testifying against someone .... The gay should definitely marry the type of person they're not attracted to instead and maintain the sanctity of such a spotless institution.

This couldn’t have come at a better time. I feel encouraged because my direct female supervisor has gotten divorced from a woman recently and is healing from that trauma but also now dating women. I have always felt a pull to guide her somehow but don’t wanna get fired and dont wanna come across disrespectful. She believes in God so maybe I need to speak more about God so she draws nearer to His love and His desires for her. My job also promotes LGTBQ pride, etc so theres that too.
