If you're going to be using the card for 4-5 year's get at least 16 gb VRAM my recommendation is you get the 4080 if the price difference between it and 7900xtx is only 100-200 dollars anything more feels like a waste well at end of day it depends on how are planning on using the GPU if you want use ray tracing or blender 4080 if you're fine with no ray tracing go for 7900xtx it has more VRAM and the performance for video editing in da Vinci is about the same

Thanks for the info. What are you thinking about the 'Gigabyte 4070ti Eagle OC rev 2.0'? Just ordered it and found out thet there are two revisions and I ordered the 2.0 which has the 4070's cooling solution instead of 4080's
Where would you place the 2.0 in your tier list?
HI hows rev 2 goin ? what temps and noise ? ty
I picked up a normal PNY verto today mainly cause I got it on sale and was 200aud less then the others value wise was best choice for me
Please advise, I bought a new 4070Ti Asus Rog Strix OC.
But at maximum load it heats up to 70C at 285W and above.
In stress tests in Furmark gives up to 72C
Does everyone have such temperature? Is it normal?
Vbios mode is set Performance overclocking mode is set mostly default too.
and there's no problem with cooling in the case, either.
and neither does the CPU (water-cooled).
so there can't be any reason for that either.
Resolution 3440X1440 155Hz
I thought it should be on the level of Aorus Master in terms of temperature and cooling.
but so far it seems even hotter than the TUF version.
So whats your prefer bro, Galax 4070 ti ex gamer vs PNY 4070 ti epic x ?
What are your toughts on the Galax ex white, is good ?
Two cards are missing, Gigabyte Windfoce and Asus Pro Art. Any advice about them ? Personally I am looking for these two because they have a clean desing and are smaller, around 50mm ticknes. I want to undervold them not overclock. Any advice ?
Same here. I want to buy Gigabyte Windfoce OC but i couldnt find an opinion about it. Dunno if i should buy that one.
@@Stenmen I bought the Asus 4070ti tuf oc. I could not find the Pro Art, the Windforce seems to be a hot card, the gaming edition did not fit in the case so I got the tuf.
Good content! Could we get some 7900XTX love?
Yep that is next
Also have to consider the gpu models that have that locking mechanism that have a long gap which when paired with heavy beefy coolers are prone to cracking the pcb like all the Gigabyte gpu models, even founders edition 4090 are cracking since it has that type of locking mechanism and a heavy cooler, so far the only 40 series gpu that I saw that don't use those are from MSI and ASUS
I bought RTX4070Ti Zotac Trinity on 14th January, I use Seasonic Focus GX 750W Gold+ PSU, GPU is not overclocked, it's quiet and cool during gaming in some games on 'high' and 'ultra' settings it does not go hot at all....
Thats because there aren't realy to much game out there that can push this card to his limits. Im usualy playing bf42 at max settings it barely sees 66 degree
Thank you for your efforts to let us see such an excellent video! I hope to see the video of 4070 as soon as possible, thank you!😊
Great work buddy!
My Zotac trinity non OC goes all the way up 3000mhz (+210Mhz) core and +1300mhz memory with max temperature of 65c. I can provide you with proof if you like. Have no idea how it ended up as a C tier.
Hi,
Could you describe noise level too? Is there something excessive/ coil whine ?
Can't wait for 4070 (non Ti) comparison!
Needed that video 4 weeks ago, next week my pc is coming in with an gainward phoenix 4070ti. Tbh, I wanted a msi card, but if I see that they are in the same tier, I guess I didnt choose wrong. And I hope I will still be happy with the card I got.
you can absolutely not worry, because the rtx 4070 ti came out almost identical from all vendors, if compared even with the same rtx 3000 series, where was a HUGE difference between the same gpu's
Hey, I want the quietest 4070 ti, that still performs extremely good, which one should I get?
Is it just me or did you forget to put the PNY XL38 Gaming VERTO Epic-X OC card in the last chart? I can only see the non-OC version of it. Earlier in the video though, I think you showed its performance.
Very useful video nonetheless.
There is no oc or non oc version
@@OTechnology there is tho, according to the PNY Website,
i have the OC version
The "OC" version that you're talking about is the exact same card as the "non-oc" version, but they apply a +60MHz clock speed to the bios which is laughable and pointless. You can do the same thing with the non-oc version in 3 seconds by moving a slider in afterburner.
Awesome video! Can you add an asus proart 4070ti on the list? What are you thinking about those gpus?
Do you recommend buying Galax rtx 4070 ti?
my PNY Verto XLR8 is unbelievable. Looks fantastic, dead silent, performs perfect.
I am really looking forward to buying it. do you recommend it to me?
@@omar1996mohammed Absolutely! The PNY is fantastic. Not a single issue with it and even after an intense 5 hour MW2 gaming session the temps never went over 63 degrees
@Tony Caldwell thank you
This helped me a lot 🙏
I'm going to buy it
@@omar1996mohammed No problem dude, I'm sure your going to love it. Glad I could help
@@omar1996mohammed what video card did you end up buying? can you tell about her? especially interesting is the noise level and the coil whine.
I have the MSI ventus 3x OC, feel free to ask questions. It’s not special in any particular way but it runs cool and quiet. I can’t ask for much more
@@alperendavarc1475 gaming trio is technically better if you want fancy stuff and between ventus and tuf it’s down to looks. Ventus works great for me
@@alperendavarc1475 ventus works perfectly. Cool and quiet. Get it and let me know how you like it
Gigabyte GeForce RTX 4070 Ti GAMING OC 12GB GDDR6X or MSI GeForce RTX 4070 Ti GAMING X TRIO 12GB GDDR6X ?
Great Vid!! What do you think about the 4070 ti suprim SE i need one but im not sure Please help
The 4070 Ti Aero OC is gonna look so slick in my all-white PC
How does the rtx 4070 ti ventus 2X stack up here? It's by far the cheapest I could find so hoping it doesn't have any fatal cooling issues like its regular 4070 counterpart.
Amazing video ! Very helpful
You are the GOAT. Saved me from a B or C tier card in the $800 price range. BestBuy has a Gigabyte 4070 Ti Eagle OC on sale for $809, with your beautiful breakdown I understand what that $9 premium is getting me. Thanks Big O!
from what ive heard from alot of different owners, the zotac amp extreme airo seems to have pretty good cooling? especially the 4070ti amp extreme? but here its ranked amongst the last? how is that possible lol?
Hello @O!Technology
Do you think 4070 Ti enough for 4 - 5 years? Because this GPU only has 12 GB Vram, or i must go to 4080?
Btw amazing video as always....
Its always hard to say but VRAM usage always rises with every new games. Thanks for the support!
If you're going to be using the card for 4-5 year's get at least 16 gb VRAM my recommendation is you get the 4080 if the price difference between it and 7900xtx is only 100-200 dollars anything more feels like a waste well at end of day it depends on how are planning on using the GPU if you want use ray tracing or blender 4080 if you're fine with no ray tracing go for 7900xtx it has more VRAM and the performance for video editing in da Vinci is about the same
If you wanna play the latest games in 5 years with ultra textures still the 7900 XT is a safer bet
I will go for 4070 ti, because i can't get 4080. 😢
I think for gaming & editing, this card enough for me, if get lower fps in 4K or 2K, just lower my settings.
Btw thank you for all your answer, guys.... 🙏
@@Catlove388-s1i ps5 has 16 shared ram, not vram
If I get the 4070ti and pair it with a i7 13700k will it still bottleneck at 1080p gaming?
You should be fine, 13700k is one of the fastest cpu for gaming
You will be fine with a 13600k even if you do 1440p gaming
hi where would you rank this card in your ranking? Gigabyte GeForce RTX 4070 Ti WINDFORCE OC
Thanks! Wish I could give you more but I appreciate the hard work.
Thank you! I really appreciate your donation too! I hope I can keep helping you find the right GPUs haha
Is Gigabyte Gaming Oc Is Better than ASUS Tuf Gaming?
S tier cooling and A tier in general for Gigabyte Gaming OC, A tier cooling and B tier in general for Asus TUF as video explains@@keerthanaS-q7n
@@yagzdereli6581Which I can buy gigabyte gaming oc or tuf?
Any chance for an Amd 7800 gpu buying guide?
Seems like the only worthwhile GPU to consider unless you got RTX 4080 or 4090 kind of free money.
did you consider the heat of the memories and does the card use thermal pads? this is perhaps one of the most important differences between the cards that affects the card ife.
Hi, thanks for the video. Do you have any data for the Gigabyte WINDFORCE OC? Considering the price range compared with the Eagle OC, it should have worse performance, but I would like to see actual tests.
This video is on another level. Wow. Thank you so much for this. So much information, so nicely presented. Thank you again!
also should i get the rtx 4060ti 16gb oc card or the rtx 4070 ti oc both cards will be rog strix oc unless you could recommend one better for performance in the price range of 900 ish$
What do you think about the MSI 4070 TI Gaming X Slim?
is the Palit RTX 4070 Ti Jetstream ok?
How does the Tuf gaming perform so bad? It should be close to the Strix card as the dual Asus cards are the cheapest and not the Tuf gaming.. I'm lost.
very good comparisons
I was thinking of making a video myself, but I don't have enough equipment at home.
It's nice that you make movies like this. It will be also nice if you can do this comparisons every next generation.it's very helpfull.
ill assume V1 was used for gigabytes gaming OC? (yea its the one i have.)
i was overclocked to nearly 3000ghz core clock (with boost) but
found that undervolting 900mv to 2650 core was better since i only lost
4fps while dropping half the wattage. (but) that oc profile is there
as im still highly into overclocking. hence 5800x C/O with PBO
with 4x8 3200c14 clock at 2000/4000 mhz imc (a few whea 19s
but i resolved this with IOD voltage iirc) never the less. which version of the
gaming OC did you use?
Outstanding video. Thank you!
I have a gigabyte gaming oc and my only complaint was the noise, glad to see the quiet mode is that cool, will be switching now.
Im curious as to where the Gigabyte Windforce 4070ti cards would be on this list. In the S tier with the others maybe?
do u have that one? if so how is it?
My Ventus 3X OC, undervolt 175w at undervolt with 3-5% perf gain, runs cool as and whisper quiet.... for 589 plus Diablo 4 can't complain.
Oh baby bingo! Im ready to come inside my graphics card (4080 super ) when it finally arrives! JustCuddled with my 3090 yesterday (:
im using a 1070 and love it and now ordered new parts and ordered the gigabyte aero OC 4070ti over the 4080 because of the like £500 price difference and then i seen reviews on the card and im a bit disappointed.
Would the PNY XLR8 Gaming VERTO OC be a good card if I wasn't planning to overclock it?
It is the same GPU with a small 60Mhz overclock that you can do on the non OC model. The XLR8 has an excellent and large cooler. A good choice for a quiet card if it fits your case.
Will there be a comparition of 4070s?
i was thinking of waiting a few month or three for a proper 4080 (at least in the same tier as the FE as per your tier list), but that neptune is quite seductive gotta be honest
Quick question regarding the Gigabyte Eagle OC: Did you test Rev 1 or 2? Would there be significant differences?
No chamber pipes, 26cm vs 31cm chamber pipes (rev 1)
There's a Revision 2.0 version of the Gaming OC by Gigabyte.
It's apparently a bit shorter than the 1.0 and also uses Displayport 1.4a instead of 1.4.
You think it will perform similarly or worse? .... I'm kinda worried.
After all this : "So in essence, there are no bad RTX 4070 ti's that you should avoid"
Me : "Well that's 15 minutes of my life I won't get back.
I mean for someone that talks about how board partners have copy-pasted PCBs from Nvidia or their 4080 or 4090 cards, you sure do copy-paste commentary from your other videos a lot. Is it to artificially lengthen your vids?
Because I need to say the same things? Ofcourse I just copy it when there's nothing different to say lol.
Hands down the best content for gpus on TH-cam, period!
Went with Pny XLR8 because it’s the cheapest in my area with coupons and it’s the best buy for me.
Same, but don’t forget he said it easily could have been an S tier. Super good cooling which means longevity too. So all and all a win 🎉
Evaulated MSI Gaming X Trio means the Small or Regular version?
great video, waiting for the super version even when should be almost the same
Haven’t found ASUS rtx4070ti pro art oc in the list, is it good ? Better than gigabyte 4070ti aourus ?
Yo OTech have you seen any AiB 4070Ti *SUPER* Liquid Cooled variants yet?
can you do super versions?
Hi, would you buy 4070 ti or radeon RX 7900 XTX (i5-13600KF) 32kb ram 3600mhz
i took palit rtx 4070 ti gaming pro oc and im so happy with its cooling and Performance ✌️
I care about : cooling / temperature/ price
I dont care about : overclock and noise
