The freedom isn't free if it was no soldier who would fight for us who. If it wasn't for them we won't how to live a life that we don't want. Us people have to fight of fear but with soldiers where living a life there not living.
what's scary about war, 1 day your friend or sibling is alive and well, then the next day you get news his name is being etched into a memorial, that happened to my grandpa, wasnt in Vietnam but was very close, all of his friends are now etched into the vietnam memorial, mishap you grandpa
Could you give me some tips on getting into Annapolis? I've had my heart set on it since 2nd Grade. I'd just like a few pointers on what I should prioritize.

Keep a lifetime curiosity for learning. Subscribe and read a printed newspaper daily. Read part of a book every day for pleasure. Every man/woman is your teacher in that you may learn something from them. Stay in school. Get a haircut. Listen to your parents and teachers. Spell out everything in romantic communications and don't use emoticons/emojis after age 15. Never put something on social media you wouldn't stand up and yell on Main Street. Life is not always fair; I just can't tell you which parts. Extra Credit: Learn a foreign language that's hard or more than one romance language. Learn to code. Work on a farm with animals. Get a library card and use it, not just for movies. Acquire good habits that won't kill you later. Register to vote and exercise your vote. Volunteer at a hospital or rehab/nursing facility. Know all of your local elected officials from Mayor to President.
It’s very competitive. My daughter is a freshman in high school, she ranked #1 in her class of over 300 students. But that doesn’t mean she anything. They Navy looks at the entire person as a well balanced and well rounded individual.
John “Jack” Slaughter was indeed a WWII veteran and at the time this was filmed, at 101 years old he was the last surviving member of the Class of 1937. He was a recent widower, his wife having passed the year before at age 97. He died in 2017 at the age of 103.
For all my classmates of the USNA class of 1958, it was an honor to have served with you all.
