As vehicles get bigger and bigger (SUVs etc), the S-class don't stand out as much anymore... Driving past an s-class vs driving past an e-class looks mostly the same to me unless I really pay attention and/or it's black/chrome and super clean/shiny.

This car is about as nice as it gets in my book. While the other luxury cars have followed suit of the ridiculous trends and swapped out good quality materials like wood, metal, and leather for piano black screens, the G90 has maintained the traditional luxury car interior.
I’d absolutely love to have such a cushy car. Every affordable car these days has such a firm suspension for “sporty” reasons that hardly anything has a nice soft ride. My dream car would be a compact car with super high build quality, soft suspension, and great sound deadening that’s also a hybrid that gets at least 50MPG or an EV with 300 miles of range. Edit: also when you get to the part with the mood stuff, normally car speaker audio is never super obvious if it’s good or bad through the Go Pro and such, but this might be one of the first cars where I can actually tell that the sound system is genuinely very good.
I can't wait for the next update of the G90. Genesis seems to be displaying their full sweet of features on this, and to see what they can do after a few years is incredibly exciting. G90's B&O speaker is real B&O. It is a B&O ADVANCED level. just not a b&o cover and domestic speaker . g90 b&o stage mode is really awesome.. and make me feel like on the stage. i love mercedes s-class, and i had w221, now i have w222 S450. g90 provide really cozy and comfortable drive to me .. like s-class.

Their latest LS has some interesting materials, but you'll see like 7 types of materials and patterns on the same door which is just silly. Their exteriors stink and have been ugly for several generations now, and even most Lexus owners can't even tell the difference between an ES and an LS, let alone other people. It's also smaller and less impressive than it used to be in the rear and many Lexus LS owners moved to the G90 and found it a nice upgrade. If you check the forums, many G90 owners came from the LS after Lexus stopped innovating and kept catering to grandparents who still think "lexus is reliable". Lexus unfortunately gave up on sedans years ago, they just make the same SUV with different names and a 1-2" difference between their models, like many other manufacturers. They made the LFA then forgot they can make cool cars. They made the LC500 which people love, and none of their sedans and SUVs have much in common with it for some dumb reason.

I’ve seen lots of great cars on TH-cam. Most times I’m quite disappointed when I find out it’s almost double the price tag after the exchange rate, adding the features you want and taxes. That’s a 200k vehicle in Canada after your said and done.
Seat controls on doors are just next level comfort despite the fact they brands copy Mercedes; it doesn't matter. Even Range Rover has them. Every car should have them on the doors, or at least on the side of the center tunnel like Aston has them, and other brands. This thing would look baller with 22s. Kinda looks like a Maybach. It needs more sound deadening.
The Korean long wheelbase model is basically a Maybach for 1/3 of the price. It's so sweet, I wish they sold it in North America. I mean you get the cooler in the back, leg rest, foot rest, even foot massage! Same size as the Maybach too, and pretty much the same features but with arguably better looks.

9:03 I daily an 2018 Hyundai GT Sport (i30 for European peoples) & my backup camera has had this same exact issue multiple times over the years, down to it completely blacking out, getting static-y, weird like wavey lines etc just like an old TV. They had replaced it twice under warranty & it always comes back. It mainly does this when it's hot out, so been noticing it again ALOT over the past few weeks. My A4 Allroad is about to deliver within the next 2 weeks & I'm giving my gf the GT Sport so she can deal with all the issues 😅 I'm tired of it

Hear me out. All these luxury cars with executive chair in the back, since the rich person can't be bothered with driving, manufacturers can save money on driver seat. It'll be just a simple manual cloth seat without lumbar adjustment. And plastic steering wheel with no power assist, no AC vent, no speaker in driver door cart, no cup holder, and crappy suspension at the front left corner.
All of these are discounted by at least $15K at dealerships without any negotiating. I think Genesis way miscalculated what people are willing to pay for a non-German luxury car. Nice car, but a loaded one should have been about $75K MSRP max, not $100K.
You can really hear the big cracks inside when you are only going 50 mph and that is not as good as a S Class. It looks like it doesn't ride as smooth over rough roads with those cool looking big rims either.

Not so, I have a dedicated Genesis dealer in my town. Since its new, its much nicer than my Mercedes service center. I've been driving s class for 14 years, but the piano black plastic, giant fingerprint magnet center screen, single stitched leather and higher price every time I trade drove me to look at Genesis, and I'm glad I did. I am a chauffer to my 9 year old grandson and he loves the massage reclining rear seat! Also, very few cars depreciate like a higher end Mercedes, Genesis can't be worse.

No. The only Kias and Hyundais that had that issue were cheapo base model ones with zero options in the US because in other countries they came with push to start and standard security features which are required on all cars. The US just had low standards and people who wanted the cheapest car possible got those. Genesis sedans have been around since 2009 with push to start, good safety features and none of those issues. They got nothing to do with entry-level front wheel drive cars.

@@deanwilliams433 Cool, show me one for 100k that has any similar options. Better yet, check out their website and build one right now to see how it has almost no features as standard, especially stuff you'd expect in a high-end full-size car since you can't get them in a smaller car.
Looked at one last week before i bought the G90, it was $159000.00, with the manufaktur interior and paint.
They won’t come close to Mercedes-Benz for many years to come. Absolutely incomparable to any true luxury brand.
