Wa alaykum salam wa Rahmatullahi wa baraakatuhu thank you Uhkti for sharing this method. It’s empowering bc only Allah and coiled haired Uhkti’s fully understand the struggle our hair goes through with frequent wudu and ghusl. I find it disheartening when ppl just shut us down repeating the curse of Allah to us. This is not vanity or trickery it is a sincere question because our hair is DIFFERENT. The constant water and ponytails and constant manipulation of our hair makes it very sensitive to breakage. Hence our desperate search for protective styles. I love your suggestions and would like to know more about the protective styles you used/use. For now I’m inspired to search hair rich food diets and to increase my water intake. May Allah Sub’hanahu wa Ta’ala reward you Ameen ❤️

This is exactly what I was looking for. I wear the hijab and I just want to grow my natural hair, so I went to the salon and the lady suggest I use synthetic hair because my natural hair is so short. I'm planning on going to the salon this week and I'm not gonna add synthetic hair in my hair.

@@ashuraramadhan2606 salam alaykoom sister, actually being hijabi can help with hair growth. I advise you to braid your hair and leave those braid for 6 months or 4 months, shampoo every 3 weeks, water wash almost everyday and then apply shea butter and make sure to moisturize your scalp. When you unbraid after 4 months stay 1 or 2 months with your afro and try to follow a weekly regimen and repeat the same process ,if you are consistent in 3 years your hair can reach or even pass collarbone length inshaaAllah. I hope this was helpful salam alaykoom.
Ps I said the hijab was useful cause no one can see those old braids:) still at home if you try to look cute there are many attractive turban styles to do once your braids get too old.

Alhamdulilah! I have been given by Allah hair that I know many women crave and I’m happy that no one can see who I don’t allow. I would show it off (to the girls) as a little kid because I felt it was on me to show them we actually have hair under the hijab/jilbab. But over time, alhamdulilah I overcame the inferiority complex and I’m content that I don’t care what others think about my hair because I won’t show it to them to “flaunt” it for others. Look at who has less than you sis and you’ll feel like the most beautiful/content person ever. It might not be “beautiful” to you but someone somewhere is wishing for that hair. What blessings we are given or not given is ultimately all a test from Allah. We gotta keep reminding ourselves to be grateful to Allah.
