What really hurts is that people put their hearts and souls into building these cities up over decades and decades, creating a peaceful place for their families and neighbors to live in. They were leading ordinary lives with ordinary problems. A lot of Ukraine had been peaceful since World War 2 and the only stories many knew of war were from their elderly friends and family members. Their lives were completely flipped upside down by this, and many of their hometowns are unrecognizable. I spent a short time in Ukraine as a visitor, but I found out recently that the city I visited (Makariv, also in Kyiv suburbs) was half totalled. 130 people in the city were massacred. A building I spent many hours in speaking to locals was almost completely destroyed. It's just extremely eerie how quickly things can change.
Johnny, if there’s one thing yours and Ben’s videos have shown me it is that Ukrainians are very friendly people and I as a Russian am so ashamed of what my country has done. I hope for peace in the near future 🇺🇦

I'm from Irpin. Although I did not like this city very much, due to the large number of high-rise buildings, overcrowding, traffic jams every morning, but the city was quite beautiful, as well as Bucha. It is sad that Russia is doing this, but the saddest thing is that most Russians support this war, support the killing of innocent civilians. And they really believe we are Nazis. Horror. Thanks, Johnny. Thanks for the video, for the support. I would also like to thank Bald. You are cool.

Johnny i was in the military during the cold war and i am a Vietnam Veteran. war is a dirty nasty thing for sure it destroyes peoples lives the ones that survive are never the same again. i will tell you this right now i have no use for the Russians at all. the Russian military is a third rate military and Russia is a tenth rate economy. somewhere along the line they will have to be taught a lesson and be made to pay for all of this destruction they have caused. stay safe my friend.
There are a lot of frozen Russian assets in the West. They need to be appropriated to pay reparations to Ukraine. This undoubtedly will take a bit of time, but it must happen.

Thank you for all you're doing to help the beautiful souls of Ukraine. I just ordered 2 Glory to Ukraine tees and plan to donate to your GFM and challenge my FB friends to do the same. God Bless YOU and GOD BLESS UKRAINE!!!!
Wow, thank you! Please send a photo of you wearing the shirts when you get them!
Johnny! great and brave guy. Frankly speaking, I didn’t expect that you gonna come back to UA so quickly. I hope after the war, many good foreign people like Johnny will settle in this country. Glory to Ukraine!🇺🇦
You are a Californian, what if the farmers of the valley did not agree with the values of the bay area where you are from?
Honest question... not trolling.
So what if people have different values?
@@TesterAnimal1 It doesn't until you use force. Right now farmers out here are being starved for water because SF dumps their sewage in the bay and the water is used to flush it out. Secondly the welfare state they brag about is all fine until they clean it up... by just forcing them on us.
You can't have it both ways.
Really powerful video Johnny.
Your Videos/documentaries are so great Johnny, the best we have seen since the war started. So hard for you to video. God Bless You Johnny, I can feel your pain 😢.
So dreadfully sad, beyond words, I say with tears in my eyes. 🙏🙏🙏
I wish and pray your country will be together again and happy.
Why does in the info of the fundraiser it's talks nothing of sending supplies but more like lobbying efforts?
I'm so ashamed of you... if you are real Russian
@@denisfetisov2160 why should I support Russia? Give me one good reason
Thank you!
I am praying 🙏 that the war ends my heart goes out to all Ukrainians, Thanks Johnny for your big heart ❤️ God bless you
Vocês vão reconstruir suas cidades!
Your content is amazing, so glad bald introduced me to your channel. Just donated what I could through the link. Дякую for your coverage of the war. Слава Україні!
Thanks for your support!
Was wishing you recorded an identical video of where everything was from the previous video but most of these areas were just flattened
The music is too loud, I can't hear what y'all are saying, please lower it in the future.
I'm sorry about your city, I hope Russia pays for all of this damage.
Stay safe brother.
Inshallah victory will be yours.
May Allah bless you and your country.
Looks very different from a couple of months ago
So tragic and sad and outrageous beyond words. The one Satanic Soulless ghoul responsible for these Crimes against Humanity must pay for this.
Canada is passing a law this week. Assets seized from oligarchs will go to Ukraine when sold
I really don't know the point for Russian to blow up residential building.
whats the song at the start??
I was so angry with you when you downplayed the threat, when you appeared at RT etc... Parts of me still are, not at you, but the ignorance demonstrated and dismissal of "mainstream media".
But now I appreciate you showing the world these images, thanks for what you do currently!
You findet food?or is difficult?
It is hard to watch this destruction of another country and people perpetrated by the Russian army. It is so surreal. Imagine the trauma to many of the people that may have survived will be a lifetime. We are praying for the Ukrainian people and the soldiers defending the land against the Russian invasion.💯
19:29 What kind of phone is that?
Why is there "fresh" "ПРОДАЖА " sign? (In the beginning of the video)
Great work documenting this shit, its important to document it all from many different sources.
Johnny, adamın kıralısın. Vefalı bir adamsın.
This is my city
So Sorry 😢
@@zendoll1 😥😢😭
Are you still there?
I can't even imagine looking through my window and seeing this sort of distruction.
Hang in there, at the end you will win.
Greetings from Belgium.
You made my eyes' tear. Beautiful country is destroyed by a mad man.
Keep the light of truth shining Jonny
I can’t tell you how much we appreciate you showing us what happened and helping those less fortunate. It’s heartbreaking. You have come a long way in such a short time in terms of your content and reporting. In times like these…. True heroes step forward… and I truly think you are on your way.
@@ClubXXXPoison Too bad the governments all around the world cannot come together and put the other issues aside and agree to make all who's guilty pay( putin & Kremlin & soldiers ) for their long list of war crimes and give them not only prison for life, but, freeze all assets and put it towards rebuilding Ukraine & the many innocent Ukrainian victims & all the orphans( due to putins war)
This is beyond heartbreaking and every day you hear about more extreme & unbelievable war crimes Russians just keep stooping lower and lower!!
Slava Ukraine 🇺🇦Thanks for sharing guys 👍good job 👏
We will never forget. 💔
So sad! I hope and pray these people can get there lives back in order one day, if they are even alive smh if not RIP to the people who lost there lives in these terrorist attacks.
Love From Indonesia, Slava Ukraini !! 🇲🇨🇺🇦❤🤍💙💛
Slava Ukraini 🇮🇩🇺🇦...
i hope those "uraa uraa" people in our country can see this video, so they know how terrible this war is.
This is not Russia's first rodeo. They did the same thing to Aleppo, Syria and Chechnya.
will anyone replace these houses with their owners
Please interview the locals there. Only they know what and how everything happened …
