This is my first digital scope; I purchased it on the strength of your review. I have Fluke and Tectronix analog scopes but this Siglent is a real eye-opener. I love it. I bought some higher quality probes and so far the results nave been very good. Thank you for a really helpful review.
@Jack Ganssle I just purchased a Siglent SDS1102CML+ as my first scope (20 years too late)... not sure why you don't have more subscribers videos are to the point, no fluff and well spoken. Thank you!
yes, it's a top scope at the price. Absolutely fine for a lot of basic embedded work. The one thing i would love to see is some decoding functions (I2C, serial ...) - for me that would be more useful than some of the obscure volts measurements. But still incredible value.
Hi there, Between a used Siglent 1102CNL (100Mhz) and the Rigol DS1052E (50Mhz) which would you choose. Both are at same price. Both scopes are very lightly used (according to the sellers) I will be using the scope for Arduino ..16Mhz? Thank you for sharing.
Bought one just before the pandemic. Used it a couple times, shut it off and let it rest on my desk shelf ever since. Went to use it 2 months ago and it won't do anything! Seems that it is locked in the "ARMED" mode and won't let any control buttons work. Any suggestions?
how did you put voltage measurement funciton on main display thatyou dont nead to have opend menu? I am looking for this option for a year but i dont find it :D
Thank you for this review. I work on high voltage circuits up to 600 to 700 volts. Is the 400Volt max input rating assuming the 10x possition? Can I measure 500Volt with a 10x probe without damaging the oscilloscope?
I just bought this one.(My first.) Looking around time 4:10 in this video, the square pulse you see a lot signal noise on the top and button. I think mine have even more noise like this only looking at the internal 1KHz calibration pulse. Is this noise normal and must be accepted? It's there whatever samplerate is selected. (?)

Does trigger on your scope have the same issue with slightly moving signal left-right?

Excellent review, the right info and very well presented. Thanks
Please add other features in next video: Aquire and Display. Great videos!

Thank you for the review. Can the FFT be displayed in realtime, on the input signal ? Thanks,
If you get jitter, try to turn the bottom right nob clockwise, (level?) Scope seams to lock right on for me...

The data sheet is silent on this. However, when I tell it there's a x1 probe connected, the max is 10 V/div. With x10 you can go to 100 V/div.
Great advice
yes it is
Whats the difference between this one and the SIGLENT SDS1072CML ? thanks
+Anas Dahany You mean CNL? The CML has more memory
Superb

Oh my, that triggering is so bad :/
