@@helenarusso I have ups and downs. Sometimes horizontal, sometimes vertical. I try to keep focused but yesterday was a blur. I think I’m an oscilloscope.
One inch scope is a massive improvement over the other alternative at the time, the well damped AVO meter, which would integrate over a long period. Seeing, even in tiny form, the actual waveform is a great improvement. Shows all sorts of stuff otherwise a mystery.
Jack, Just watched a bunch of your videos from ~2014; I really enjoyed the audio, video and delivery of the content from back then ... still tho keep up the great work your subs appreciate you.
I enjoyed your review but I wonder how much less a scope without this size screen and touch capability yet comparable functionality would cost. I also wonder if we have reached a point where oscilloscope functions are becoming overkill for the vast majority of hobbyists.
hii jack i read ur book "the art of designing embedded system" it a great book i learned a lot so firt of all thanks .and just a simple request that u shoud make some basic tutorial videos explaining the embedded system that will be great like what dave(eevblog) do in his videos.
Hi Sir .... I like your reviews because they are true to inform rather than marketing the product.... Also , you are from the old school which doesn't care for the fancy tech. nowadays. I would prefer Analog oscilloscope with 6" CRT readout than DSO, the best real-time measurement and display readout.
Another observation is that due to commerce department export license restrictions, researchers and scientists in countries deemed hostile to the US cannot purchase the expensive Keysight or Tektronix oscilloscopes, but ironically, superior Chinese scopes like this one are readily available, at a fraction of the cost, even in Iran Cuba or Venezuela.
Jack, you are too commercial minded and not objective. I'm sorry for the 5 minutes I spent wachting to this propaganda review. You should be more brand agnostic.

Thanks Jack! I wish that I could afford one of them. I do have a SDS1204X-E though.
Hello Robert how are you doing 😊

Very good review. Thanks.

Time for another video!!!
Very good and informative material but the camera and lack of light make this video hard to follow . Please make something .
I'd prefer a 10 m screen.
Is Siglent not a Taiwanese firm?
Thanks for sharing :-)
SIGLENT is pure Chinese founders and investment and they are nice people.
I thought they were owned by a UK company.

Well, mine is bigger!
