There’s a few people who still play this game, so this game’s not really “dead”. But I agree with what you’re saying, fans have been requesting Arika to turn what was an April Fools’ trailer into reality, and Arika complied, they wanted to make this a passion project out of their own company savings. The game is here upon request, but yet fans won’t even lift a finger or their wallets to support what they wanted from the very beginning. Yes, this game isn’t mainstream, but then again, neither was Street Fighter, Tekken, and UNIST from the very beginning. Don’t call yourself loyal if you don’t support this game and spread the word-of-mouth

SF EX characters aren’t as popular as other SF characters who could be brought back to newer games + maybe Capcom doesn’t think it’s worth the effort to work with Arika so they’re allowed to fully use the character. He did come back as a costume in SFV but I guess that’s a lot easier to do than making a playable character.
Skullo was the best thing to come out of the Street Fighter EX games.
Cracker Jack was good as well, although not as memorable as Skullo.

Capcom doesn't own the character, it's a different company (Arika, the same company that developed the SF EX series)

@@usboko73 sometimes the direction is different like LP, LP Back, LK, HP or its in reverse HP, LK, Forward, LP, LP. It all depends on the game.
