Really cool opening! These early Pal Max Prime designs give me Darth Vader vibes lol. Before the movie came out I always imagined the movie starting out as a big robot fight, but towards the end it zooms out of a tv showing Katie and Aaron playing the robot fighting game, foreshadowing the future events. Then after Katie wins and Aaron ragequits, that's when Katie breaks the fourth wall and introduces her family.

Sony: actually lets lighten it up and make it about dad who wants to be connected with gadget-addicted family! RE CONNECTED! Yes! lets make that the new title
_luckily the animators didnt take away all their idea and focused on sony idea. also since the distribution right given to netflix, the title changed to mitchell vs robot which is probably their main idea since the beginning_
