If they get this pricing right they could topple the rest of the competition- looks terrific - I’d have one of these over an ID3 when I get my eGolf traded in
PEUGEOT has always known how to draw us the most beautiful concept cars in the world, but while remaining very conservative by bringing out production models far from the resemblance or rather innovative or even ultra futuristic and technological qualities offered by their concept cars. quite dreamy, but there they understood that it is not enough to realize the most beautiful concepts because of the world but to almost realize them at 60% or 80% with a rather advanced technology will allow them to go towards a great success and this 308 inspired by the fractal concept, the 508 inspired by the Exalt concept, the 208 inspired by the instinct concept and finally the 3008 inspired by the quartz concept will be very successful which will raise Peugeot to the PREMIUM because this 308 marks the maturity and evolution of Peugeot to go upmarket
Never been a fan of Peugeot but I gotta say, with their rebrand (new logo and new style adverts) and designs, I can see them dominating Europe in the next decade. In many ways the 208 and now this 308 is a class above.

Wish that when you go onto the website for the 308 to configure, it would allow you to build it and show your final choice, Jaguar do this. Still waiting to find out when one will be available for a test drive.
I agree this does look a really nice colour. My current 3008 is in Copper Sunset and looks great when clean.I wonder if this Green would be the same.Shame I have opted for Perearlesent White....let's wait and see??.
Some great designs coming from Peugeot recently. Let's just hope they continue even though the deign chief responsible for the current line up has now gone to Renault....
I never understood this suv thing anyway. They are just hatchbacks with few more centimeter of ground clearance with higher center of gravity. I never seen these being used off road anyway. While it's the customer who should impose the fashion , it's the manufacturers who impose it and everybody jumps in!
Customers do impose the fashion with their wallets. Example: 60% of Lambo's sales are its new SUV. Lamborghini never planned to make an SUV a few years back... but the demand is just this high!
@@newbiesrock8206 Yes, of course, the demand is high because that's latest fashion now. But that's a bit like chicken and egg how this suv madness started. When someone sees one in his neighbor's drive way , he wants one too. The question is how the first neighbor got one under which influence and motivation.
Recent SUV buyers are afraid of missing out on the cake, or they buy SUVs because normal hatchbacks + sedans do not have the space inside and the perceived " superior " high seating position.

@@ariohd5267 fingers crossed the 1.6 thp engine is fairly decent but combined with electricity it could be brilliant , french hot hatches are so underated in the UK .
Not fan of SUV, and I am driving a 308 but the author must be drunk to say the new 308 is better than an SUV or even close to it. Firstly it is still tiny inside, secondly the seating position is too low, and lastly does it look tough enough and " reputably" reliable enough for potential buyers ?
Not as good-looking as the 208 and 2008, 3008 and especially the 508, the nose on the 308 is quite long compared to the whole body, but an improvement over the old and finally with good legroom space at the back and spacious trunk and most importantly a proper size steering wheel that does not cut the instrument panel view in half.
Are you on crack? Looks are subjective so if you think the 208, 2008 and 3008 look better that's completely within your rights, even though I dont understand how you can think so. What's less subjective is the fact that legroom (in the back) has barely improved, trunk also is just standard in this segment and the steering wheel has the exact same shape and size as previous models so god knows what you're talking about.
I lost interest when I saw the infotainment screens. I know cars are moving that way but they are very distracting and way to complected. Car looks stunning in the green.
Nice car without a nice drivetrain. Strong petrol or strong fully-electric version is lacking. Future performance PSE version will probably also be based on 1.6 :(
All this extra length and you have this longer nose plus big fat grill, but still tiny inside. New so so shape, same old engine, short distance hybrid, new on trend gaudy display ( will it last for 5 years ? ). Peugeot , you have disappointed me
Never liked green cars but this is a exception.
If the price is right for the PHEVs it is a real winner.
If they get this pricing right they could topple the rest of the competition- looks terrific - I’d have one of these over an ID3 when I get my eGolf traded in
I looked they seem to price it as much as the Audi A4.
Looks fabulous, Peugeot have come out with some great new colours including this green to tempt us away from plane old black and white.
Look breathtaking
Peugeot is on fire with the modern designs. Wow.
I’ve been looking for a new car as my current contract runs out in November with Toyota .. think I have found the one !
Makes the Golf look like a car from last century
Peugeot have brought it back from their older gen cars!!
I enjoyed watching the Video Preview
Thanks Jamie!
Absolutely Stunning Looking Motor both inside and out! 👍👌
Awesome, just awesome 💥💪

Such a beautiful car it’s a true work of art and I will be buying one next year when I trade in my t Roc
Another great design Peugeot!
looks promising, not fussed on the new badge. Far prettier than VW competition both in and out

Normally I'm not into Peugeot or french cars in general, but this car can maybe be the one that changes that.
Better than an SUV I don't know, but better than a Golf for sure

I hope Stellantis rebrands peugeot as Chrysler and brings it to the US
They will bring peugeot cars over in the coming years
You will probably be able to get it in Mexico, if you're looking to import
@@TWCHHK nope. Peugeot ceo said that they stopped all plans to bring the french brand to the US

I also believe automotive companies should focus more on PHEV rather than electric
But will they make a GTi 🤔
no Hybride 225 hp max, but an EV powerfull one :)
PSE, probably.
