    Great video, straight forward and thorough!

    Also those calipers are nice and clean, if yours are like mine and have a cruddy buildup where the new pad seats, try cleaning the surface with a wire brush.

    excellent video. Im going to give this a try at the weekend. Can you push the piston back in with something else instead of having the specialist tool?

    This is a nice clear video, thanks, I was interested in how to route the wear sensor. However I didn't see the bit where you refastened the caliper bolts?

    Thanks bro. just need to know what tools have you used to change the braking system

    Hi,
    after I repplaced brakes on the exact same model and year of you, the abs sensor poped up. Any ideas why ?

    hi. i did exactly as this video showed me, but on the right side my breaks get really really hot and it also makes a noise, have i done anything wrong will it maybe help if i put on some grease on the back of the pads?

      Hmm, that's bad. I'd suspect that your pistons are stuck in the "out" position and are pushing on your brake pads all the time. If it's a metal-on-metal grinding noise, maybe one of the caliper bolts has worked loose, and the caliper is rubbing against the brake rotor.

      Arun Rao yeah you maybe right about the pistons are stuck in the out, today im taking it all apart and do it all over again. No the sound is more like when i push the brakes hard it sounds like a Bang noise from the right side. but now I'm going all over it again so maybe it will be good now. Thank you so mutch for answer:)

      U forget to rub a round the pads and back side with grease -thats way brakes get stucked

    Do you not put grease on the brakes to help with noise?

    @MarcoDallas I have used a pair large channel lock pliers in the past, but I really wouldn't recommend it. If you're willing to bleed your brakes, you might be able to unscrew the bleed nipple and push the piston in by hand.

    is the same process for an audi a4 2010?

    • @yellowshuttle
      @yellowshuttle  10 ปีที่แล้ว

      Sorry, haven't done a 2010, but I don't expect that the design would be *very* different.

    so breaking grease isnt needed?

    • @yellowshuttle
      @yellowshuttle  8 ปีที่แล้ว

      +ItsFucknChuyy Do you mean the blue anti-squeal stuff? I didn't use any, and it doesn't appear to squeal.

    Ummm... Just for the record, using quality "ceramic " pads like akenomo's make a world of difference in dust build up and noise reduction plus better performance. Also, I've been using channel pliers to compress pistons and works like a charm. Don't forget gloves and a particle mask as brake dusk is not healthy to inhale......peace!

    Of course Audi is missing the basic technology of calipers that get retained and swing out.

  • @yellowshuttle
    @yellowshuttle  11 ปีที่แล้ว

    No, but I haven't had squealing problems
