    Greg deserves credit for a well-done video. First of all, he doesn't start out like so many bozos who begin with saying, "Hi, guys, what's up?" That's so cliche and it fails to recognize that not all viewers are "guys". Then he doesn't waste time. He gets right into the content without trying to convince you to subscribe and like his video. His sound is clear and easy to understand and the content he provides is useful. Good job, Greg!

      Guys doesn't necessarily mean boys. It's a general term to refer to a group of people or your friends 😂😂😂. So "his guys" as in "hi everyone"

Really love all your POD videos, very informative and super helpful, just wondering if you've already made a video on how to address design theft on these POD platforms and how to reduce, avoid or protect yourself from it, or perhaps you can create a new video on this topic if you haven't already, Thanks Greg!

    The "new kid on the block" Threadless has been around for 20 years. I've been with them for over a decade, and I think I've bought more there than I've sold lol. Artists hoping to make this a profitable creative outlet, might want to shelve that thought. This is a high volume business, so being an artist is just going to slow you down. I don't mean to discourage anyone, but just a reality check before anyone starts wasting their time. Nice video.

    Thanks for your information. Could you also provide insights on suppliers from China and Vietnam for merchandise production? I see they offer a wide range of products with affordable pricing but don't know how should I work with them.

    • @Joanthuan
      @Joanthuan 5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I have a suggestion for you in terms of suppliers: Merchize. They offer a diverse range of products at competitive prices and provide enthusiastic support. Personally, I have had a positive experience with them and I am quite satisfied.
      Regarding your question about suppliers from China and Vietnam for merchandise production, working with suppliers from these countries can indeed offer you a wide range of products with affordable pricing. To collaborate effectively with them, here are a few steps you can take:
      Research and Due Diligence: Conduct thorough research on potential suppliers from China and Vietnam. Look for reviews, ratings, and testimonials from other businesses who have worked with them. This will help you gauge their reliability and quality of products.
      Communication: Reach out to the suppliers and establish open lines of communication. Clearly communicate your requirements, expectations, and any specific details you need for your merchandise production. This will help ensure a smooth collaboration.
      Samples and Quality Assurance: Request samples of the products you are interested in before placing a bulk order. This will allow you to assess the quality and make any necessary adjustments or improvements before moving forward.
      Regular Communication and Feedback: Maintain regular communication with your chosen supplier throughout the production process. Provide feedback on samples, request updates on progress, and address any concerns or issues promptly. This will help ensure a successful partnership.
      Remember, it's always advisable to start with smaller orders initially to test the supplier's capabilities and reliability before scaling up. By following these steps and establishing a good working relationship, you can effectively collaborate with suppliers from China and Vietnam for your merchandise production.

    • @ssiegreen5292
      @ssiegreen5292 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I'd send it to the either the site where A: the sales item price is most reasonable and you can expect a better click-through + buy rate, or where B: your profit margin is the largest, or the one where C: the quality of the t-shirt or whatever is best. I'd say it all depends on who you market to - who your buyer is and who you are trying to attract. One-time sale and done? Or getting dependable repeat buyers?

    Thanks, Greg 😊 I have to whine a little, though. Several weeks ago I signed up for Tee Public and read through the terms before uploading anything. It was late and I know better than to upload stuff when I’m tired so I went to sleep. I woke up ready to get started and saw the email saying I was banned 😮 Not sure why because I hadn’t done anything yet. I submitted the form to appeal but never heard back. I know we’re at their mercy but it was frustrating. I decided I’d do my best to keep calm and carry on with something else! There are plenty of options and you mentioned one I never heard of that I can add to my list of possibilities.

If something like that is possible, please make video about it 🙏. @@merlinshouseoffreereadings4641 Wow that's nice. Can Etsy be connected to printify or Amazon? 🤔 Or is there any option to connect everything to one site? Like one store with different design options. For example every site have it's limitations and some site have specific design patterns while other site don't have that specific pattern. If it's possible to connecte all shope in one (or on one site) it would be much easier since every store will have unique design and we will not need to worry about accommodation of good and sending them /shipping since passive site will be going it for us while being connected to active one whatch will help in promoting our store more. Or I mix it all up. Sorry I didn't watch video again since I'm on break at the moment and am not able to do so. Please do correct me if I'm wrong

    Hello Greg. If someone has a t shirt word phrase or statement, do they need to get it copyright first or what is your opinion? appreciate any help.

    • @GregGottfried
      @GregGottfried  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Great question. If you made the design yourself, you technically own the copyright to it informally by being the original work creator. This means if someone copies your design, you can email the POD website and report it. They will look to see that you uploaded it first, and that the other is in fact a copy, and they will remove it. If you wanted to go further, you can formally protect your designs for about $500 each with the government.. I've done it in the past and I dont recommend it.. The only difference is if you need to go to court (would not likely ever get to this point), you would be able to show proof of formal protection filed. I hope that makes sense and helps!

      It is best to use research tools to help you find out what designs your potential customers are looking for that are less competitive when you first started. There are free tools like Google Trends and Keyword Planner, but the paid tools will give you more detailed research data of course.
      For long term strategy, evergreen designs should be the focus. Trending designs usually won’t last long, but they have potential to make good sales if you can catch the waves early enough.

    • @GregGottfried
      @GregGottfried  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hey no worries. I believe the re-apply is in regards to using the same amazon account. I've spoken to many people who have re-applied with a different email address, and got accepted on the 2nd or 3rd try. I'd keep at it until you get accepted because it's a big site that gets a lot of sales.
