she smokes... her taste buds are burnt and covered with tar. She couldn't taste the difference between a pizza and a slice of liver at this point.

Hey guys, just here to say that you can guess pres's scores before he even says it and here's how.
1. If there is no immediate reaction (a highpitched noise or something like a "yup that's good") then its automatically lower than a 8.
2. If he says "It's very good" "pretty fucking good" or some other positive modifier along with the word "good" (not immediately ofcourse) then its in the high 7s (above 7.5)
3. If he says its good, decent, or the like, then its a 7.4
4. If he says football pizza then its in the 7s likely lower-mid 7s
5. if he says hocky rink pizza its not higher than a 6
6. If he takes awhile to think about it then he's inbetween two milestones. A dave portnoy milestone is an usually a .5 or a 0. For instance if he is stuck between the pizza being "good" and "very good" then he will go 7.5.
7. He's bias towards thinner type crust with the coal fire marks. For these he doesn't go lower than 7.5. If he says "bar pie" then you know he's going high.
8. Anything below 6 is pretty much unpredictable. He can review most pizzas but bad pizzas its a crap shoot.
Harping back on the dave portnoy milestones previously mentioned, He usually does not go for the .5s and he almost never goes for the 0s as he perceives them as rookie scores. 0s he almost never goes for, if he's stuck between if the pizza should be high 7s or low 8s, he will almost always either go 7.9 or 8.1 never 8.0 on the dot. For the .5s its different, if he's stuck between a 7.4 and a 7.6 (a good vs a very good pizza) then he will almost always go 7.5

My folks are from New Haven. I was weened on Pepe's. When we didn't feel like driving to Wooster Street because the line would be too long or it was closed, we'd sometimes go to Ernie's, which was close. It was no Pepe's, but I still loved it.

louiiiXT yeah man, I’ve been going to Ernie’s since I was a little kid whenever visiting my grandparents in new haven, and in my opinion it’s some of the best pizza you can get. So good. The owner is a good guy too, he really cares about the place

Grew up in new haven eating at Earnie’s. Wasn’t until I moved out of Connecticut and tried pizza in other places did I realize I was spoiled for good pizza as a kid.
