A band named Liliac (lilly ack) dropped a cover of Master of Puppets to commemorate the 35th anniversary of the release of the song by Metallica. I think you guys would like it. They are a young band made up of all siblings ranging in age from 22 to 13.
Metallica plays their entire show with the same energy. They also play longer sets than most bands. So they keep that energy up for a long time. I have seen them play live 15 times over my lifetime and they never disappoint.

You should check into the band Liliac . They are a family group ages 13 to 22 . They have done covers of mettalica , Iron Maiden , Jefferson Airplane and more . They also have original music , the singer , Melody has a voice you have to hear to believe !

You should definitely listen to the studio version of this song. It is definitely a very different song and not to mention the fact that you can hear the true meaning of the song. You will be able to hear the great Cliff Burton who at the other versions is not with them. He died before they made their other albums after this. He died while they were on tour and they decided to replace him and carry on. I can say that they made some good songs after this new bassist was in and they never really had the same type of ability to really layer the music and get the perfect sound that Cliff could deliver. The music world definitely lost one of the greats that day. He went to school and studied music and was able to compose their sound and his influence was drastically heard through the albums of “Master of Puppets”, and the album “Ride the Lightning”.
It was a real tragedy what happened to Cliff Burton on a slippery road in Sweden. May he RIP. Thanks for the info John and keep on rocking babies. 🎶✌🏻🤘🏻🖤

Greetings from Sweden. The first part when they are playing slowly is a tribute to their first bass player Cliff Burton. Its called "To Live Is To Die". Cliff was killed in accident when Metallica was touring my country September 27, 1986. The bus slided off the road, threw him out the window and got crushed underneath it. The metal world lost a beautiful soul that day. This live concert is by many fans regarded as one of the best Metallica has ever done.
You two crack me up, great to see the two of you still rockin! If I may, allow me to introduce you to Liliac. They are 5 siblings aged 13-21 and they just released their cover of Master of Puppets, it's EPIC as is everything they do. I would love to see your reaction to it and more. They do covers of Metallica, Dio, Ozzy, Joplin, Joan Jett and more! They also have 2 original albums that they have written and composed. They have become the "first family of rock" and simply phenomenal whether it's a cover or original. The singer has a voice that gives goosebumps everytime, one of the most unique voices in rock today. They are the future of rock/metal. Check them out, you won't be disappointed. I remember seeing Metallica on their King Nothing tour in Maryland, and for their last song they set the towers and part of the stage to collapse and burn. Almost everyone thought it was real and that the band was injured, because one of the towers fell right next to James. But after everything fell over and mini exploded, the band picked up the song and finished it to the roars of the crowd. It was an amazing show.

He died while they were on tour and they decided to replace him and carry on. I can say that they made some good songs after this new bassist was in and they never really had the same type of ability to really layer the music and get the perfect sound that Cliff could deliver. The music world definitely lost one of the greats that day. He went to school and studied music and was able to compose their sound and his influence was drastically heard through the albums of “Master of Puppets”, and the album “Ride the Lightning”.
It was a real tragedy what happened to Cliff Burton on a slippery road in Sweden. May he RIP. Thanks for the info John and keep on rocking babies. 🎶✌🏻🤘🏻🖤

Greetings from Sweden. The first part when they are playing slowly is a tribute to their first bass player Cliff Burton. Its called "To Live Is To Die". Cliff was killed in accident when Metallica was touring my country September 27, 1986. The bus slided off the road, threw him out the window and got crushed underneath it. The metal world lost a beautiful soul that day. This live concert is by many fans regarded as one of the best Metallica has ever done.

They are 5 siblings aged 13-21 and they just released their cover of Master of Puppets, it's EPIC as is everything they do. I would love to see your reaction to it and more. They have become the "first family of rock" and simply phenomenal whether it's a cover or original. I remember seeing Metallica on their King Nothing tour in Maryland, and for their last song they set the towers and part of the stage to collapse and burn. Almost everyone thought it was real and that the band was injured, because one of the towers fell right next to James. But after everything fell over and mini exploded, the band picked up the song and finished it to the roars of the crowd. It was an amazing show.
