    How to Twilight Cleric:
    Step 1: Activate temp HP bubble
    Step 2: Proceed to rock with cleric spells
    Step 3: Watch DM’s encounter crumble
    (Optional give Darkvision to your players that picked humans or other non dark sight races.)

      Bubble(action) and spiritual weapon (BA) round 1

      Now watch everything die lol

    ok, +2 to AC and Dexterity saving throws is huge! while yes, it being a capstone feature is a little lackluster, it is still a huge benefit especially for less dexterous classes.

    Yes you need to be in dim light to fly, but your twilight sanctuary surrounds you in dim light so you are good to go most of the time.
    Action: twilight sanctuary
    Bonus action: activate flying
    Move action: weeeeeeee!

      Also helps fix drow sunlight sensitivity, so it's great for drow party members.

    Funny Synergy. Twilight Sanctuary makes the 30ft ratios “dim light” meaning you can action Sanc, BA Step of the Night.

  • @vision_walker
    @vision_walker ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Also something good to do with 300ft of darkvision: get proficiency with perception (whether that's background, or in my cleric's case: one level dip into ranger) AND the Observant feat, which gives a +5 to passive perception and can give a +1 to wisdom. This basically makes you a master of perception and are able to see things coming at you during night time (Twilight cleric's main thing is protecting people from things that go bump in the night); this is good for keeping watch during rests, and then if something does attack, you can give your party 300ft of darkvision as well. Fey Touched is also a good feat, since you get Misty Step and one 1st level divination/enchantment spell (I chose Identify since our team doesn't have a bard or wizard). This feat can also give you a +1 to wisdom, which just helps with your overall build.

    Funny thing 😂 I play as a dark elf with this class and worked it out with my GM that instead of being blinded by the sun I would only gain 150ft of dark vision instead of 300. I think it’s fair and I can still give my allied 150ft of dark vision which I find to be more than sufficient

    I made one of these, the plan is to stand next to my wife's barbarian and keep resetting her temp hp. I took heavy armor master since we are in a low magic world so there are little magic weapons. Between the two of us, there is little we are figuring that can kill us.

    I'm playing Twilight Cleric in Curse of Strahd (I'm lvl 5) and it's channel divinity is absolutely broken!
    Because of the amount of shielding, me and my DM decided that we were going to remove Aura of Vitality from my domain list to put something else that fits with my character, and now I got HASTE :3
    I'm not that big of a fan of using 2 spirit guardians at once so I'll leave that to the war cleric in our party and cast haste onto our Echo Knight or our Rogue

    @marcusblacknell-andrews1783 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    I wonder if it's possible for a Nyxborn to play this subclass.
    Perhaps the Origin and Quirk tables could help build a character that thrives in the darkness of night.

    5:15 - Hate to break it to you, but Twlight is the domain that *SCREAMS* for being a Drow Priestess of Eilistraee...sure it sucks with the disadvantage for Perc/Attacks, but remember, as soon as you activate Twilight Sanc, even in full sunlight, you're not anymore for a minute.

    • @deathbyd4
      @deathbyd4  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      That's a very good point to bring up in favor of the drow (so long as you're not against using your Channel Divinity every time you enter combat while in sunlight). Certainly does help make that race/subclass combo work.

    Aura of Vitality is nice, but Beacon of Hope can trigger off a lot more healing. Especially if you take at the minimum a two-level dip into Circle of Stars Druid for Chalace form.
