      Save money. The MOST LIKELY situation is another hit on the economy. So be financially safe and don't panic buy. A lay off is far more realistic than a societal collapse which has literally never happened. I'm a prepper but too few speak of financial security. Stay safe and love your neighbors!

      This election, imo is very important. One way our republic gets destroyed, the other we hold that off for at least 4 yrs. As far as the so-called law. We'll watch the news. One side was allowed to loot, burn buildings, and attack people. Some even tried to attack a federal court building, and nothing was done. The other side was removed or arrested just for protesting or speaking out against this evil. Something to think about.
      I can assure you their NOT on your side.

    Last year I was working a MMA show in Colombo Sri Lanka. During that time I witnessed rolling blackouts, long lines for gas, restaurants couldn't produce at certain hours, pharmacy shortages and then the civil unrest started. The ARMY was quickly deployed to secure the embassies. Found the most expensive hotel and bugged in for 1 week before getting a flight out. Why? The hotel had 24/7 gated security, buffets, gym, pool and generator independence from the grid

    • @reliableprepper
      @reliableprepper  หลายเดือนก่อน +6

      That sounds like an intense experience. Seeing civil unrest and shortages firsthand really puts things into perspective. Smart move on finding a secure hotel with everything you needed-gated security, food, and power independence can make all the difference in a situation like that. It’s a reminder that when things start to go downhill, having access to those kinds of resources can be the key to riding it out safely. Being prepared and knowing when to bug in, like you did, is crucial when things get unpredictable. Glad you made it out safe!

    but we are not to be called on for active shooting events. out main job is the support of those who are trained to shoot. we handle base camps, hand out food, water, living supplys. see to it a good meal clean bed, etc. .is back at camp for fire fighters.

      I respectfully disagree. Where i agree that some people will not. Most people will comply. Because they are already in the mind frame that the police are their friends, and if you don't do anything wrong, you don't have anything to worry about. There arent enough people in the military to do door to door grabs. It'll fall on local police, of which are usually friends with those in the 2A community. So it it potentially come down to your friend or even extended family member, knocking at your door (obviously i don't mean you personally, but in general).
      Most people will willingly give them up because, you know, we live in a society, we have laws, we cant stoop to their level, etc and so forth.
      We have recent and real world examples of compliance. Where the majority of people went along with getting the trump shots to work, or go to school.
      I would love to see everyone wake up and stand up at the appropriate time. Though with past recent examples. I just don't personally think that it will happen.

      @@NinjaFox-pe3dvTrumps shots? I remember politicians saying they would not take the Trump shots then when they stole the election they forced everyone to take the shots … well they didn’t force everyone. Not sure why they did that. Say no then when the election outcome was to their liking they all of a sudden loved the Trump shots.

    • @reliableprepper
      @reliableprepper  หลายเดือนก่อน +8

      It’s true that a lot of people are heavily armed and won’t give up their weapons easily, but @NinjaFox makes a good point too-there’s a large portion of the population that tends to comply, especially when they feel like it's in line with laws or societal norms. The idea of compliance is something we’ve seen before, like with the push for vaccines. It’s interesting how perspectives shifted after the election, but it shows that compliance often depends on who’s in charge and how people perceive the situation. While many will stand firm, others might go along with what they’re told for the sake of staying within the system. It’s hard to predict how things will play out, but having both sides of the conversation is important.

    Part 2. Martial law in other countries was a serious matter. In Vietnam when covid kicked off we were told to stay indoors. Do not leave unless for medical attention or food. So my buddy and I took our large backpacks and bought several weeks of food. What we couldn't carry in the bags was carried by hand. Bottom line....nothing happens like this in America....if this prediction surfaces it will be big, destructive and lethal. Definitely a purge scenario.

If something similar ever hits America, it’s going to be on a whole different level-big, destructive, and definitely chaotic. You bring up an interesting point-losing technology could force us to relearn self-sufficiency, something many of us have lost touch with over time. It’s true that modern advancements have made life easier, but they’ve also made us more dependent on systems that can fail. The craftsmanship and architecture of the past definitely had more care and longevity, and it’s hard to compare that to some of the quick, disposable buildings we see today. Maybe stepping back from tech could help us reconnect with those essential skills we’ve left behind.

    Here's my thought on this whole thing. Police and military would be stretched very thin in all major cities and large towns. There's people in this country who's extremely organized and very well trained. When people who know how to survive come out in the dark under tyrant leaders and followers. One by one, they will fall. Because there's more than us than them. The movie The Purge Forever at the end told a tale better than anything. The military and law lost control. We will be looking into the worst of the worst situations. While the morons politicians hide their ass in bunkers. The people above will be on their own. But, make no mistake, they can't stay below forever. Eventually, they'll have to come out. That's when the real interesting situations will happen.

    • @reliableprepper
      @reliableprepper  22 วันที่ผ่านมา

      You’re onto something there. In a full-scale crisis, police and military would be spread way too thin, and those who are already trained and organized will have an edge. When politicians hide out, it leaves regular people to fend for themselves and deal with the chaos. You’re right-they won’t be able to stay hidden forever, and that’s when the real reckoning will come.

Stand at attention at all times like a soldier . But be disciplined in behaviour. It's not just a fashion show. It's a duty. . I say this because the woman wearing her gear in.this video does not look ready to handle a serious situation. It takes more then just wearing it. The person in it needs to exude authority. In her demeanor .a woman in battle needs to be mentally ready as well as phiscally ready.

    I am at a loss of words for what may come. Fortunately, the USA is a huge chunk of real estate. I live in, Oregon, as an example. The military and the police in my opinion, will limited to the 5 or 6 major Cities in Oregon, and this will spread the Military and Police very thin. Not enough to patrol the Rural areas and small cities or communities. There is a problem with supplies and resupplies for just one state military and police with "beans and bullets." Now multiply that with 50 other states to contend with. When the bullets and beans run out, those that are to protect us, will run out. The citizens will see those protecting them as the "Haves" vs "The Have Nots." They have families, and self interests to protect. (Look to the Russian Revolution as an example when the military there, mutinied in mass.). That is when things got interesting and the civilians suffered the most. Just saying, for a few months, there may be order, but order quickly decays. The knee jerk reaction by those in charge, to "clamp down" eventually is a old method from out of date play book which will be repeated again and lead to the same results as in the past.

      You’ve really thought this through, and I think you’re onto something with the idea that the military and police would be stretched too thin, especially in rural areas. In a country as vast as the U.S., focusing on major cities leaves a lot of ground uncovered, and when resources start to run low, things could quickly spiral out of control. Your comparison to the Russian Revolution is a solid one-history does have a way of repeating itself, especially when those who are supposed to protect the people become seen as the “haves” versus the “have nots.” The initial order might hold for a while, but as you said, it could decay fast, and that’s when things get really unpredictable. It’s definitely a situation where being prepared, especially if you’re outside those major urban areas, can give you a better chance of navigating the chaos.
