10/10 for this guy! The GSF Bandit is probably one of the hardest bikes to make look good (ive never been a fan of the frame on them) but this builders attention to detail really earns this bike my respect. Brilliant work!
I'll have to counter that the second gen 1200s nakeds were better looking with their more angular frames and better integration of the plastic styling elements. The builder got rid of most of the ugly bits =)
Having a Bandit myself, this is one of the finest transformations I've seen on this platform to the point that it matches what I would do to mine, if I hadn't a posterior problem with road homologation of that transformation. Maybe one day....

Beautiful. As an owner of a 1200 Bandit GSF, I can really appreciate this cafe built. Personally I would not have altered the tank, because the tank is one of the things I like best about the Bandit, but that's just me. This is still a beautiful build. Love it. Thanks for sharing.

This bike is more of a cafe racer than 95% of the bikes shown on this channel. It's actually very powerful, fast and it handles and brakes fantastically. That's what the original - and real - cafe racers were trying to do with their motorcycles, unlike the "style only" bikes common to this channel. Not trying to offend, but that's a fact.
I understand what your said. But your vision about what a real Cafe Racer has to be, is not accepted by everybody. I already talked about that matter in other videos.Personaly, i think Nowadays the original purpose of old/new motorcycles customized like the original Cafe Racers, does not make sense anymore. If we follow the pure perspective of those Cafe Racers, we would end with something similar to a modern Yamaha R1. And this means that this rebirth of the "cafe racer" scene, must have a different approach. :) But thank you my friend for sharing your perspective. :) Cheers.

@Racer TV - My only point is many, if not most, cafe racers on this channel (and elsewhere) are motorcycles that have been modified to actually make them SLOWER. Poor seat positioning, diminished suspension, slower handling, slower acceleration and less effective braking. That is in direct contradiction to the spirit of what the real cafe racers were all about. And I don't mean that every bike should be an R1 or it's a fail. Whatever size the bike is, as long as you go in the right direction in terms of enhancing speed, it's all good. The bike will look like a good cafe racer automatically. There are so many cafe racers out there that have been horribly mangled at the expense of rideability and speed just to give them a certain look. IMO, that's the wrong direction to go. But, it is only an opinion, of course there is room for all interpretations, to each their own. All I know is I would like to see more "functional" cafe racers like this one. I also enjoyed seeing some of the build process as well, those are good details to see.
