Personally, I like Megatronus. His appearance is most appealing to me, dark metal with some dim red glow - absolutely awesome!
I also feel sorry for him, because he was not originally evil, his brothers were the ones who made him evil, without even knowing it. Also, he was very emotional, and so am I, so that part is relatable.
Megatronus is the black sheep of the family.

I really like Solus Prime as she does seem like the motherly type. I found her design to always be pretty no matter how it was presented. I do really like 13 Prime though, he seems to be interesting despite not knowing much about him other than him being the peacekeeper of the 13 Primes.
Most people assume he was reincarnated as Orion Pax who was chosen by the matrix and became Optimus Prime meaning that Optimus is one of the original primes

I actually looked it up. In the aligned continuity, the 13th prime actually was Optimus prime. Optimus wished to to live among primuses creations as one of them and primus allowed this, removing Optimuses matrix, memories and what ever unique prime abilities he had. Primus then gave Optimus prime the name "Orion Pax". Eventually Alpha Trion found orion and released who he was and decided to take his former brother under his wing to guide him down the right path. After a while the term prime began to refer to a leaders not just the original primes. Alpha Trion was actually the one who petitioned the high council to give orion pax the title of prime and who gave him the name Optimus but orion pax, the noble cybertronian he was, refused The title. Once primus restored orion pax to Optimus prime it is unclear if he's memories were restored because he never brings it up but afterward he accepted the name so they probably were.
The irony in all this is how u compared the 13th prime to orion pax
The 13th Prime will always be my favourite because if what I've heard is true, that prime was reincarnated as a librarian of Iacon who would one day lead the Autobots through countless battles and in time, sacrifice himself to create new life on Cybertron. I'm not entirely sure if he's the one but if he is, he will always be my favourite Prime.

The thirteenth prime has been hinted at being Optimus Prime. Do I believe it? Yes I do. Till all are one! And as for my favorite prime? He may not be in The Covenant of Primus but my favorite prime is Optimus Prime.

Ah yes, everything goes horribly, comedically wrong until the thirteenth shows up and straightens things out.
But then RID just had to ruin Megatronus and make him a super evil Decepticon (he even called himself the first Decepticon for god's sake), despite the fact that he was only manipulated into killing Solus Prime and took all of the blame when it should have been Liege Maximo.

They also gave him the ability to transform which is ridiculous because while nexus had some shapeshifting powers, amalgamous was the true shapeshifter and the only one of the 13 with a T-cog

My favorite Prime is definitely Onyx Prime. I love how in-tune he was with life. I love characters like that. And he’s freaking Lord of Beasts. What’s not to love? (Plus he seems like a bean)

Dang, transformers theology is 10x’s more interesting compared to human theology and creation myths. I also noticed that there’s some inspiration to human theology in this, such as all the primes being born innocent.

You know, it got me thinking. If Hasbro hasn’t been too scared to take risk do you think we will be given a Transformers Prime Prequel series about the Primes?
If it does happen, it should called “Transformers Prime: Origins” each season will be focused in different timelines season 1 & 2 would focus on the Primes, their rise and fall. Season 3 & 4 should be focus on what life was life in Pre-war Cybertron and how Megatron’s life was like along with the other Decepticons and Autobots. Lastly Season 5 & 6 should focus about Rise of Decepticons and the fall of Cybertron :D

The thirteenth prime was Optimus Prime:
After the 13 fell, Optimus asked Alpha Trion to erase any information on the thirdteenth prime.
As Optimus told the remaining primes that the age of primes was over, Optimus stepped into the Well of Allsparks and at that moment a thousand sparks came out,
(Including the spark of a future miner-turned-gladiator know at the time as D-16).
When Optimus came out of the Well of Allsparks, he became Orion Pax.
Orion pax eventually was given the matrix back to him and became optimus once again
seeing it somehow is as if Optimus and Megatron were destined to be born together.
And then in predecons rising he returns to the well of all sparks and brings life to cybertron
i like the 13th for 3 reason
1: he's cool
2: total badaas looking and
3: he reincarnest into the great leader we all know as no spoiler

Leige Maximo seems like quite an intriguing character. Especially considering who he was in the OG comics. I feel sorry for both him and Megatronus, can relate to their stories. Might be a bit biased because of that, but Prima sounds like a bit of a dick lol.
The part where Alpha Trion says that in the beginning, all of the primes were good and innocent, made me think of baby faced baby primes…also, I wonder how all the primes (minus Mr. 13) might react to meeting humans after learning their role in (per several continuities) ultimately stopping Unicron with how they influenced the Autobots’ behavior towards each other and such…plus, Prima is a real jerk, I wonder if he should’ve been the one labeled the Fallen, for his ostracizing of poor Megatronus…

I’m pretty sure 13 was Optimus. His “all are one” saying is a dead giveaway. Also, Optimus is still a prime, and was not accounted for on that list.
Optimus became a Prime later on, but these are the first 13 Cybertronians created. But the 13th Prime goes into the Allspark to be reborn, and he is Orion Pax. Alpha Trion seems to be the one who told Halogen (High Councilor) to name Orion Optimus Prime- so I am wondering if this is the return of his original name?

The Covenant should be the benchmark for any new shows or movies that decide to tell this story. They should start at the Primus v Unicron fight and end when Megatron declares civil war. We already know how the great war plays out. I'd love to watch a show based before the great war

lel, but I think my favorite Prime is Vector Prime, mostly because Transformers Cybertron was the first Transformers show I watched, way back when I was like 6 or 8 or something. Lil kiddo.
That was my first Transformers show and toyline as well as I was born on February, 9th 2001.
Oh, I figured Liege's relic would be a pair of gloves that would be able to mold his words into reality.
In a pinch he could create creatures made of light-clones sort of like how Zeta Prime did in his boss fight in WfC, but he could only be able to use his words to create things that would actually last with the help of others, if it was something alive, then he would need Quintus, if it was an object or material, he'd need Alchemist, if he wanted to make a change he caused (or wants to cause) with his words permanent, Amalgamous and alpha Trion would need to agree to it in order for it to stick.
And Optimus would give lieges creations hope
13 does have a relic, it is called: The Plot Armor.
Megatronus has the personalities of Optimus an Megatron combined caring but with extreme temper
primus and unicron are two parts of a combiner that hate each other

@@emperorkumquat True, but Wiki's can be edited, while a book is set. And wading through all of the Wiki's is like walking through an art gallery. All of it is art, and there are techniques that are universal, but each category has its own style and established rules. This material is exclusively Aligned, which is the 'verse I'm writing in. Thus far, I've used the Wiki's and only drooled over the books (why must they be so expensive...), but with you laying things out like this... *cue choir of angels* XD

It's hard to rate other though cause most of the event everywhere will only spotlighting Prima, Solus, Ligue Max & Megatronus (& maybe alpha trion). The other just treated as a passerby

I heard from a friend that the 13:th prime could be some sort of a Avatar. who ewer has the Matrix will get his knowledge and part personallity- and when you think about it in TFP- When Optimus loses the matrix and gets it back, he has no memories of what happened. It's as if the matrix makes him to a completely new person. Could that be the 13:th prime?

I just had an awesome idea! They could do movies about this like marvel. Unicron finds Primus and begins his journey across all of space and during this time the Autobots have to gather all the artefacts of all the primes over lots of movies to resurrect Primus and then have him say he cannot help because he is the very planet they live on. He then gives an artefact to each of the Remaining Autobots and have them fight off the big bad.. Unicron. That's an awesome idea lol. Some do this please hahaha

I like Megatronus, because he's tries to hide his emotions like me (though it is unhealthy) and often questioned himself, of which I did kind of.
And I like 13, I get the feeling that he would comfort Megatronus whenever his emotions get out of hand, like a supportive little brother
This is really cool stuff. My only gripe with this series (TFP) is how easily whalloped Optimus gets. I haven't watched enough TF to know better, but it seems like at every turn Optimus just gets beat down. Even when he got his big upgrade, he couldn't stand up to anyone. When I think of the Primes I think of extremely powerful bots, and Optimus doesn't have any particularly overwhelming strength aside from being bigger than average.
Still loved TFP, started watching RiD and it sucks.
Especially considering he was the reincarnation of the 13th prime.

Prima was an kind of an a-hole, Trion was (and maybe still is) a librarian, Micronus was basically Jimeny Cricket and Optimus' past life was moral booster and so on.
I'm a fan of Nexus Prime myself, though this is due to his role in the shattered Glass comics.

This site seems to provide the scans. Though an express zip file compressor is needed to process them. There may be an easier method if you look around. I know there's a video of the first issue around.

The history of the 13 is just so great and they should really go into further depth in a show, book, comic, just something. As for who is my fevourite OG Prime, Solus always will be at the top of my list. Though after learn about what trully happened to Megatronus he is a strong second.
