There's the Wolves project, an attempt to bring MechAssault to PC. Haven't given it a try yet, though, so I can't say anything about quality. I've been busy with MechWarrior 5: Mercenaries, MechWarrior Online, and the Battletech turn-based strategy/XCom-like game. I never owned an Xbox, so I never got to play the MechAssault games. Would be cool to be able to play two games in the Battletech franchise that I missed out on playing.
This is it. The very first game that got me into mechwarrior. I used to watch my dad play this. After a few missions me and him would play the co op mode. Made it to vs 3 ragnaroks. God that was fun. Then when i got my own pc he gave me his entire collection of mech warrior pc games. Mw2, 3, 4, mech commander, mech commader 2, plus all the expansions. God i miss that pc. And my xbox.
If Mechassault came out today Natalia would’ve either looked like a trans dude or been some fat land whale with pink hair. I really miss the 2000’s era of gaming.
Man, I remember when I was a kid I would always sit and wait in the main menu just for the amazing intro this game had. The fact that you can only play mechassualt 2 on any of the Xbox’s going forward past the original is honestly such a disgrace to this game. Thank you for the nostalgia trip
Man this was an absolute dream when this came out. I grew up with my brother playing all the mechassault and MechWarrior games on the PC but even when I was a kid(even as an adult unfortunately) I couldn't play anything on the PC to save my life but I was really good on the original Xbox so I was finally able to enjoy it myself!
Man i remember playing this game i just want to go back in time and have the game great again it would be nice to see the remake of this really miss the story and gameplay
what i would give to have these games remade. i understand they're spin-offs of the mechwarrior series, and that much of the fanbase doesn't care too much for these spin-offs. but these games were always my favorite. loved em.

@@gameprose4293 Mechassault is on pc now too via the emulator. There’s even mods for it now.

funny how they updated the tomboy looking commander to a AAA plus super model hottie in the sequel.
And briefing boy became a member of the kids next door.

Well mech 2 is playable on the 360 but it’s very buggy

They haven't resumed the BC program to full scale.. yet. But only MechAssault 2 can be played on Xbox 360.
