For all those who do not have an ice cream maker, you can try this: put it in a container and sick it in the freezer. Every 15 mins, take it out and whisk it well. Then, stick it back in until the next 15 mins where you need to take it out to stir. Repeat until it is fully set. (She says this in future videos so hopefully it applies to this recipe. Also, the texture will not be the same so don't expect perfect results with this method.) :)

No need to keep taking it out of the freezer

Blend it enjoy 😊 it will almost be same results!!

Here's a tip. First put your mixture in the freezer and then whisk every 30 minutes for 6 hours and you have a sorbet or ice cream. Hope this helps.
Could you please like this so that it makes it to the top comments and everyone will know how to make ice cream without an ice cream maker.
    Thanks

If you dont have an ice cream maker. Place into freezer for 4-6 hours or overnight. Then break up slightly & place into blender and blend just until smooth. And there you go! P.S this is coming from a chef!

She teaches how to do that in almost every of her ice cream recipe. Freeze the ice cream, and every 30 minutes put your electric mixer through it to break ice crystals. Do that until it is creamy and mostly frozen. Let it freeze compeltely.

Guys, if you watched her other videos, you would know that she already explained what to do if you don't have ice cream maker. From what I remember it was putting it into the refrigirator for a very longs time and mix from time to time. It takes a lot of time this method and it's not that effective but it will work. Just check her other videos.

take a freezer-safe bowl and put it in the freezer over night. also, put your ice cream mixture in the refrigerator. the next day, put the mixture in the cold bowl and every 30 minutes take it out of the freezer and stir it around for 5-6 hours, or until it's reached the consistency you want. hope this helps!

If you do not have an ice cream machine, but have access to dry ice (solid carbon dioxide) you can follow chef Heston Blumenthal's concept of adding dry ice to any mixture you want frozen, and stir fast, or use a stand mixer. If you do not have a stand mixer, fill a very large bowl with a LOT of ice in layers with salt. Push a smaller bowl into the larger bowl and add the mixture you want frozen. Stir fast.

you can just put it in a freezer safe conteiner with a lid or alluminum foill and put it in the freezer. every half hour or so take it out, give it a good stire and put it back in again. repeat for the next 4 hours and let it in the freezer for 3 hours in the least. it takes longer but it's a good alternative if you don't have a machine like me.

For all the people complaining about not having an ice cream maker. Instead of putting your mixture in the ice cream maker, put it in a the freezer and every 30 minutes or so, mix it slightly. This will prevent it from freezing into a solid block and will also keep the ice cream nice and airy. Stop mixing when you feel like it has turned into icecream :) Takes longer, but you have the same results :)

If you do not have an ice cream machine, you take a freezer safe bowl and let it freeze over night then add in the sorbet/ice cream and cover it with plastic wrap and keep stirring it every 45 min for about 6-7 hrs (wont have the same texture as if you were to use an icecream machine but this is just a second option). she also explains it in her other videos when she uses a ice cream maker

Yes. You might want to lower the amount of sugar then, however. Since Orange is MUCH more sweet than Lemon.
I'd recommend Squizing the lemon and make your simple syrup just adding a bit at a time untill you like the taste.
