(0, 0) starts in the top left because DirectX uses left-handed coordinates. This used to be in an annotation but they're all gone now. Will update with other missing annotations when I find the time.
Kudos for reinforcing the mental image to maintain while doing these operations. I have not beein introduced to the PlotFunctionOnGraph node before, thanks for that as well!
Very clear, thanks ! Can i just ask you why you multiply by 2 and then substract 1 ? It works well whitout doing that, is that for extend the range of action ?
Thanks for the fast answer. Your video is really good and deserve more views, i even picked up my pen and paper and took notes ! Im trying to find out a good effect to make a model disappear and thanks to you im getting closer every day. Concerning the texture's range, i tried to bypass it like i said, then recable it and i couldnt see any difference but yes im using 2D texture. Im pretty new to UE4 so idk what WorldPositionOffset is :/ Thank you again, i hope you'll make more tuto ! Unlike plenty others videos, it's a real course, not the " do what i do " thing. PS : Sry about my english, not native here.
Thanks for the info' about WPO, i'll try to find another course about it. Exactly, like a sheet of paper being consumed by fire (whitout the fire, just an example). I already achieved to make it disappear by creating a dynamic material instance and modifying the Opacity parameter but it's pretty cheap and i'd like to make a good effect.
