it makes a difference if you do it sitting down. i have both the hd 4452, and just got the hd 6600c. the 6600c is more sensitive and goes faster than the 4452. need to get the book thou. did quite well for making rug mugs. you can never compare 1 machine to another. 1} the cost; 2} each machine was built for special techniques needed for each sewing needs. like comparing a more expensive car to a more practical vehicle. people should never have buyer's remorse if they did their research! makes a big difference with a heavy-duty model!!! love mine; and I'm intimidated by electronics. that's my NEW CHALLENGE FOR ME!!! ALOT OF STICHES TO PLAY WITH!!! Love what you do, and learn to find just 1 thing each day to learn to love what you don't. ride the wave! life is a blank canvas. you become the master artist to create something beautiful!
Thanks for your comment! I just like the older machines way better. I'll take an old Singer before this "heavy duty" one. It's not bad- I do recommend that one to my students who are starting out. But for me I need the reliable sturdy metal machine. Lately I've been using a Singer 306W from 1949 that I paid 30 dollars for and it's absolutely amazing. It sews from heavy fabric to delicate embroidery. I can't help it but compare the machines because I sew everyday! Check out "Vintage Sewing Machine Garage" and "Andy tube" youtube channels. they're mechanics who restaure old machines and often talk about the quality of them
Thank you for testing this machine. I have the mechanical but was wondering on the digital. I use a +1 Husquarna Viking daily. Love it!!! Thank you for taking the time to show this. ;)
I'm just learning how to use a sewing machine and your video was a big help. Thank you.
You're welcome!
