If I find a picture I want to embroider, I'll sometimes put it on a large screen (like a tablet) and sketch it over white fabric like a tracing sheet. If I want it on a less transparent fabric, I'll trace it onto the wash-away fabric and layer that with my end fabric.

What I don’t understand is how you make the width of the zigzag change while sewing without adjusting the stitch width 🤔

I really wanna try this but a bit scared to try atm but really do wanna learn my machine does small letter I wud like to do bigger letters

I inherited my mothers 1961 Singer sewing machine. I used to sew long ago. I just got back into it. Started making 3 and 4 tier patchwork skirts and aprons. I would love to learn how to embroidery using her machine. Glad I found your channel.
