Thought I'd post the parse of this fight if anyone's interested in looking at some data: imgur.com/a/XxNfPfF Edit: Updated run here - th-cam.com/video/5K_Vdhw7nCc/w-d-xo.html - Siegfried can finally hit sub10!
In version 1.1 the highest DPS I had against Lucilius was 164k at best, so the version 1.2 damage cap buffs and warpath sigil combined more or less doubled his DPS. This is especially true if I can get a run where I don't drop too many combos. It's a pretty incredible buff! The warpath sigil does incentivize you to dodge and juggle your combos instead of relying on facetanking damage so I feel it's a pretty fair tradeoff that rewards knowledge of the fight. Another thing to consider is that Lucilius has a ton of downtime or reduced damage phases due to the Labors, Final Rebellion x2 and Gopherwood Ark so you end up having a lot lower DPS overall compared to Behemoth.
@@OneCleanCut Imo it's easy to have a good dps againt Lucius cause it's pretty clear when you can DPS + he's doing almost always the same thing. Behemot keep fucking jumping everywhere and for some combo/setup characters it's a pain in the ass ( Zeta ...).
Yup, on Zeta you'd probably have to settle for regular loop finishers instead of Arvess Hammer a lot of the time which lowers her DPS quite a bit. Siegfried is pretty good at chasing Behemoth around because you can weave in a lunge gap closer in every hit of your combo. Meanwhile Charlotta is just permanently in noble stance using her gap closer for optimal DPS all the time, pretty hilarious. Having a few party members with great SBA gain helps a ton with keeping Behemoth locked down, it's especially great for Id with the new Versalis Heart sigil since he can keep spamming Godmight finishers for the majority of the DPS windows. Just have to make sure Behemoth doesn't jump away during the SBA startup animation which can be pretty annoying.
Holy crap this man just did a perfect run of the hardest boss In the game. Perfect dodges, roll canceling, pre loading combo finishers. Flawless showcase. Earned my sub hope to see more
It is like I'm watching the epitome of fighting style of Guts in Berserker... jesus christ... those combination of dodges while in mid air and the timing is Impeccable... if you would play in Tekken 8 tournament, I bet you will be a Pro league player.
Is the awakening sigil still necessary for siegfried if you have warpath? I noticed you didn't use it and still dealt amazing amount of damage. Is it better to exchange the awakening sigil for supplementary dmg?
Siegfried's other unique sigil traits, dragonslayer's dominance and ingenuity, aren't necessary for this fight if you're running warpath in my opinion. Against Lucilius with 250 stun power, I tend to save Nelah Nav and Verdrängen to stun him out of paradise lost, so cooldown reduction isn't too important but it does help by getting Uwe off cooldown faster. The sigil slot economy is a bit tight so I chose to drop dragonslayer's ingenuity as more of Siegfried's overall DPS is now focused on perfect execution combos when running warpath. If you're going for as much DPS as possible, I would drop the awakening sigil for supplementary damage in most cases. If it's a hectic fight with multiple bosses and you're likely to get hit by things you can't see very well, you might want the survivability and cooldown reduction from the awakening sigil.
what a clickbait, you werent solo you had sandalphon smh jokes aside this is extremely impressive. perfect dodges and perfect weaving, i cant imagine how many tries you had to do to achieve this. also congrats on the perfect over mastery rolls too, NA cap, skill cap AND crit cap?? thats the dream
I almost went bonkers rerolling over mastery! I had like 37 ambrosia stacked up and I spent hours each day for almost a week just save-scumming it, using about 650k MP each time. There were a lot of soul-crushing ones that were just a few points shy of being perfect, like having only 10 crit but everything else maxed. I can't imagine getting a perfect roll for more than one character without some absolutely insane luck. It's pretty rough on the eyes too because the screen flashes every time it rolls. Admittedly the skill cap up isn't super crucial now that Warpath is here, but I was dreading the possibility of grinding for a Sub12 time and having missed it because I didn't have a perfect over mastery. Hopefully they add a level 4 over mastery roll with much better odds at some point...
@@OneCleanCut holy shit I had no idea the extent you went for the perfect rolls wtf. On top of that you had to save scum, that’s concrete evidence the chances are astronomically low I really commend your dedication. I’m hoping for a mod that guarantees what you want for overmastery. We do enough grinding as it is…
Another great sync at 4:35 with the guitar kicking in when the sword hits the ground! Love how the full version of Zero lined up really well with this run.
If you don't have any Supp V+ yet, it's pretty tough to run my build in this video as there isn't much space for utility slots with stun power and damage being my primary focus. Personally I don't like playing without 100% chance for supplementary damage as the extra hits actually have hitstop which can throw off your timings if they don't always proc. You definitely need improved dodge for both survivability and maintaining your combos. You could run with 16 nimble onslaught instead of 30, but I find that the extra second of invulnerability and extra SBA gain is really nice. Potion hoarder is optional but it'll be harder to get a run across the finish line. If you just want a comfortable clear and aren't going for a really fast time, you could also forgo supplementary damage entirely to slot in more survivability like stronghold, dragonslayer's dominance, steel nerves, and even stout heart. Guts and autorevive are nice, but I prefer guts because autorevive has a really long animation before you can start fighting again. Cooldown reduction sigils are also good but are less needed now as most of your damage comes from your perfect execution combos. If you get an AI team built up (I use Zeta, Eugen and Percival built like in this google doc guide: docs.google.com/document/d/1kI4cz6ida7hI0WNDa-udkM-MNlxaBaB2I8ED4XgAaK0/edit?usp=sharing), you can AFK farm behemoth in about 5-6 minutes on average so you'll eventually get some SuppV+, hopefully with some good subtraits.
I'm fairly certain you have the same amount of time no matter the number of players. There's about one minute each to clear Punishment, Ruin, and Halphas.
Siegfried has some pretty good mobility built into his kit and I'm fairly used to doing them solo so that's probably why. You could compare the timer to a multiplayer run to be sure.
I played a ton in online public lobbies at first but my first attempt at this solo was back in Version 1.1 about 3 weeks ago, so I've had a good bit of practice since then. In this session in particular, this was attempt #6 and I'd been playing for a few hours. There's a lot of things that can ruin the run: getting SBA sealed at the wrong time, the slow skill seal orbs covering the middle of the arena which prevent me from stunning him out of paradise lost, not having link time ready after gopherwood ark which wastes a ton of time as he'll make you do another mini-labor, and of course just getting hit and dying pretty much instantly because of my build. Eventually I got this run which had a pretty nice pattern of attacks and I did a few safe strats to get the clear. Definitely tough to get a time like this consistently! Going for a Sub12 is going to be pretty brutal but I'll see if I can pull it off before the 1.3 patch.

300 dps is a really big buff to him, even outshine an unmodded Narmaya on Behemot

This is some great Lore - Accurate Siegfried Gameplay. That was an amazing run and even more amazing technique!
Wow. That was beautifully done, an amazing fight for sure.
Well done, brother.
You've shown me not to obsess over survival skills, but to rely on my own abilities to maximize the potential of this character.
Should still put on Improved Guard and Improved Dodge though.

Mr cleancut: "solo's Lucilius" Sandalphon: am i a joke to you?😂
You're right, he did contribute to building link gauge and 6.2k DPS!

Any recommendations if I don’t have supplementary sigils?
