  • Zero Lucilius has a ton of new moves, twists on mechanics and attack behaviors as well as important buffs/debuffs to pay attention to! Watch as I blow up to all the new mechanics and barely clutch a first attempt!
    Updated Twelve-Winged run: • Lucilius Zero - Twelve...
    Here are some observations that I had this run:
    - Siegfried's debuff immunity skill, Salvator, is very useful to apply to the party when he channels paradise lost for the final labor as there are targeted explosions that inflict SBA seal (a full burst is required to stop it!). With all of the visual effects happening, it's very hard to keep track of these. The A.I. cannot reliably dodge these either, so keep that in mind and possibly build SBA seal resist on them!
    - Playing with A.I. also requires you to micro-manage their SBA usage by using the shortcut for them to hold SBA until you do, otherwise they'll try to full burst and be unable to stop paradise lost.
    - Since the timer is so strict at 10 minutes total, being unable to stop paradise lost is a huge waste of 30 seconds of damage uptime and can easily make or break a clear. You should absolutely take some combination of uplift/nimble onslaught if you're a low SBA-gain character like Siegfried.
    - In Folca, Roland has a few easy side quests with rewards including a Potent Greens/Supp Damage sigil. This might not seem amazing, but potent greens is a good way to cleanse the SBA seal debuff if you get it at the wrong time! The devs probably took this into account and it's a good sigil to run until you're very comfortable with the fight.
    - Since the timer is so strict, the fact that players can deal much more damage than the A.I. is actually an important factor for clearing! The tricky part is surviving his new mechanics, but taking the usual Guts/Autorevive/Potion Hoarder should be enough if you're already familiar with the normal Lucilius fight.
    - Buff removal skills are actually quite useful here, as he gives himself buffs throughout the fight like attack up, defense up, supp damage, damage cut, and regen! This can both improve your team's survivability and damage output in the final DPS check.
    - As for A.I. teammate choices, Eugen and Cagliostro are great picks for their ability to remove buffs from opponents and their consistent damage output. I took Zeta (Less is More, No Skills build) and Percival for their raw damage output, but I think swapping Percival for Cagliostro is a good idea overall.
    Build:
    War Elemental
    SuppV/SuppV
    SuppV/Nimble Onslaught
    Gamma/DMG Cap
    Gamma/DMG Cap
    DMG Cap/Aegis
    DMG Cap/Guts
    Stamina/Steel Nerves
    Critical Hit Rate/Tyranny
    Improved Dodge/Potion Hoarder
    Stout Heart
    Dragonslayer's Warpath
    Overmastery: 20 Stun/20% Crit/20% Normal ATK DMG Cap/20% Skill DMG Cap
    Wrightstone: 10 Crit/7 Life on the Line/5 Guts
    Farming Zathba's Volunteers for Berserker Echo+, Lock Horns for War Elemental+, and transmarveling for Warpath+ sigils will yield a noticeable improvement for this build! Unfortunately it seems that sigils that are level 15 by default cannot be used in the sigil synthesis as there are no "levels" to them so to speak, so the farm will take some time.
    Unfortunately this quest is very solo-unfriendly like the other new quests due to the strict timer, so I don't think I'll be able to make a solo video unless a mod is made to increase the time available. It's understandable as there was virtually no challenging post-game content (besides Lucilius) for a fully geared endgame party! It would've been nice if the time limit scaled with the number of players; perhaps this will be addressed in a patch. When I have a finalized build for 1.3, I'll see how far I can get in this quest solo and push for a solo sub10 and lower on the original Lucilius quest. The update added many avenues for improving our builds, so it may take some time for me to get a build I'm satisfied with for solo runs.

      Yeah, it's a great difficulty spike! Clearing solo is likely impossible but it'd be fun to see how far I can get. It's going to be weird to go back to regular Lucilius where the mechanics are much more forgiving.

    Saw some other guy clear this fight on TH-cam with Lancelot solo with ai too and I thought wow, holy shit this fight looks impossible without Lancelot and flight over fight
    And then you clear it anyway with a character that’s not Lancelot and also without using flight over fight (since it’s a sigil, you can equip on anyone). Well fucking done, man. Bravo

      It is, you’re just expected to have a proper team. On the bright side, there are no unique drops from it, you just get a few more of what you get from the normal Lucillius fight, so it is purely for bragging rights.

      I think it was Eugen helping me out with the orbs, normally I can't break them with a single Y lunge!

      SuppV/SuppV

      Overmastery: 20 Stun/20% Crit/20% Normal ATK DMG Cap/20% Skill DMG Cap
      Wrightstone: 10 Crit/7 Life on the Line/5 Guts
      Definitely not a finalized build for 1.3 by any means as we can farm out War Elemental+ from Behemoth and Warpath+ via transmarvels. I was going into the fight blind so I took stout heart as a safety net; however, it often isn't enough to avoid one-shots anyways. I think swapping stout heart for other utility like another nimble onslaught, autorevive, potent greens, or stun power would be a better choice, especially for multiplayer! If you want the most damage possible, definitely run Berserker Echo (which also has a + version) with this setup for another 20% supplementary damage that stacks with normal supp damage sigils.

      @dylanlerian5960 29 วันที่ผ่านมา

      @@OneCleanCut If I'm not wrong it's impossible to have War Elemental+ in transmarvels. It's only obtainable on Behemoth.

    • @OneCleanCut
      @OneCleanCut  29 วันที่ผ่านมา

      @@dylanlerian5960 You're right, it drops from Behemoth in Lock Horns and is on the same tier of rarity as SuppV+ for example. It's unfortunate that it can't be used in sigil synthesis... Makes all of that Behemoth AFK farming in version 1.2 feel a tad wasted.

    • @OneCleanCut
      @OneCleanCut  29 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      I think the Awakening+ sigil is nice for the new multi-boss quests, but isn't really needed here. Dragonslayer's Dominance doesn't really help since most attacks in this quest are a one-shot regardless. Dragonslayer's Ingenuity, however, can help get your skills off cooldown if you're running this in multiplayer for more buff uptime!

    • @Shinstrikex
      @Shinstrikex 28 วันที่ผ่านมา

      @OneCleanCut makes sense actually. If you're not really able to use the buffs those effects lose value. Alright

    It’s the Seven Trumpets bit I die on.
    How do your AI do the tasks properly, mine seem to take forever to reach any of the circles on the ground. (Causing me to use Charlotta for her jump)
    Then the barely target the feathers, even when I pick ranged they struggle to get to any.
    The swords is fine, but every character I have is in recovery due to failing the other 2 parts.
    The last kicker is my Ai not getting enough SBA because they will simply stop attacking to build SBA when I SBA last minute. (There’s always 1 Ai)
    Either I’m just cursed, or there’s some sort of knack to getting the Ai to do things.

    • @OneCleanCut
      @OneCleanCut  27 วันที่ผ่านมา

      The A.I. in this quest is kind of a crapshoot, I was lucky that they weren't too bad this run. I highly recommend building your A.I. with 2x nimble onslaught and as much uplift as possible for SBA building and damage uptime. Make sure to control their SBA usage with the shortcut to have them ready for Paradise Lost. I'd advise splitting up from them during the stepping on circles labor and making sure that you start each one as soon as possible, using whatever movement abilities you can to speed things up. The A.I. really struggles with the fast circles so try to aim for those first. The feathers is the same idea, but characters like Siegfried have an advantage here due to his built-in gap closer. There's definitely an element of luck here!

    • @TheStrongVirus
      @TheStrongVirus 26 วันที่ผ่านมา

      @@OneCleanCut yeah, I normally go for the outer circles, the farthest I’ve got was with Vaseraga as I’m pretty good at movement tech with him. But damage output was slow which effected bits further down the line.

      I managed to get far with my Sandalphon. I don't mind never completeing it, I'm just happy that I did well as him, that I built him well enough.
      I'm just gonna grind out the other characters then probably call it.
      I hope they continue making things to this game in the future :'(
      I want a Beelzebub and Belial fight.
      Maybe even a playable Rolan or something... RIP game.
      Like Versus, no one appreciated you well enough. But Hopefully like Versus Rising you come back as Relink Rising XD

    • @OneCleanCut
      @OneCleanCut  26 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Thankfully this fight doesn't drop anything amazing, so it's really just a little optional challenge that puts everything you've grinded for to work! I'd love for this game to get a ton more content but realistically I think Cygames is going to have a skeleton crew take over for some minor patches/balance changes and move on to other projects, hopefully using some of the knowledge they gained by developing Relink. I'd really like to see some of the more undertuned characters like Rackam and Ferry get some buffs to their intended playstyles before the game receives its final patch.
      Relink was stuck in development hell for almost 8 years so I'm honestly impressed that the final product is this fun! I think it would be a real waste of everything they've made here if they never made a follow-up game. Perhaps an Iceborne-style expansion (Relink Rising?) could revitalize the game, or a live-service model sequel with more aggressive monetization. I'd personally be disappointed if they went with the latter route as I much prefer games that are a single purchase without significant monetization (ie. optional skins, emotes, etc.).
      I'm definitely going to keep playing this until the Elden Ring DLC drops on June 21st! I'll post solo attempts at this quest and hopefully a sub10 solo of the original Lucilius quest before then.

      yeah I agree.
      I’ve always thought that making characters like Rolan, Gallanza… etc playable would be interesting.
      If they wanted to boost player rates, they could have a cross over event fight, Id as a character in Rising, (Idk) Beelzebub as a character in ReLink.
      Then have the materials to make that Gatcha Ticket claimable but have a mission to farm what you need, hell, call it the “Astral Pack” and have Rolan, Lilith and (Rising Guest) Beelzebub be the material drop for that boss. For example…
      It feels like there could be soo much more. They could add side stories with challenges that are for certain characters so you’d have to play certain characters at specific conditions.
      There’s a lot that can be done. I do feel like they won’t do much with this one now, but they might add characters in terms of game already modelled as playable at most.
      But I hope it gets a Rising treatment, Rising is great. Especially the story, I’m waiting for the next part of it.
