People have suffered too long regarding young girls being abused and targeted by certain ethnic communities. This latest incident (allegedly by a young man of an ethnic background, categorised by the now fabled ‘mental health’ trope) has led to an outpouring of long-simmering grief and anger, an expression of despair by frightened disempowered indigenous communities. The authorities need to recognise this, rather than automatically branding protesters as ‘right wing extremists’. This is a powder keg about to majorly explode.
