Melee for example, most people agree who the top 8 characters in order with a few differences in players like placing marth a tier higher or sheik a tier lower. But there is nothing like that for smash 4, at least not yet so how could you check??

mario is the best character in the game imo. he has no weaknesses. he has great combos, kill moves, recovery, speed, weight, juggling, landing, etc. He's a small character without the disadvantages of being small and he's actually really heavy for some reason.
As a Mario Main, I need to try this out to see how I can pull it off. It's surprising how many different combos Mario has to get kills or amass damage.
I have so much respect for players of this game, the raw tech skill required to even scratch the surface of competitive play is astonishing, such intricate tech like wavedashing and L canceling takes so much practice to perfect, not to mention the crazy things like multi shining, shine out of shield, and drill-shining... oh wait, wrong game
Ok, I know that footstools can't be teched, but in this video that looks like a LOT of time to get out of the footstool animation. You can use up-b out of the footstool animation very quickly so why not just do that to avoid these kinds of combos (with characters that have a good combo breaker up-b that is. Marth, Mewtwo, Mario, Charizard, etc)
I did this against a kid at lunch with like 8 people watching. Needless to say everyone popped off and the kid was left almost crying due to how bodied he got ¬v¬
I dont know if anyone else did this yet. You can lock witj fair rather than nair at zero then get another dair starter to nair just to get about 33 percent

What about Upthrow > Uair >Footstool combo ? Isn't that true ? I'm pretty sure it does work against marth/lucina for example, and it's an easy way to do the setup at low % (between 0 and 15 I would say)

With Mario become worse in this meta due to sword characters and campy characters, he needs to maximize his reward so that he doesn't have to win neutral as much (since winning neutral vs the swordies as Mario is hard)

For example: -Lylat tilting patterns -T&C platform timings -Battlefield asymmetry -Dreamland's slightly tilted ground and even other basic infos like stage blast zone heights and distances, stage lengths, etc... it would be so interesting!
