My super ficial paraneal nerve is swolen (ultrasound), 10cm above the ankle. They also say there is a lot of scar tissue from my surgery there which is causing the stress on the nerve, thus getting inflamed. They are talking about surgery or first try corticosteroid drops with ultrasound injection on and around the nerve to calm it down and litterly burn the scar tissue. Do you have experience with this last one? I didn't hear you talk abou this kind of injection to burn scar tissue. Thanks for the video!
Yes I have lots of experience with treating that nerve under ultrasound. But, my approach is to help tissues heal, not to burn anything. I don't think that steroids should be placed around nerves as that can cause long term issues. I use PRP or PPP most of the time, with a little bit of 5% dextrose
Yes!!!!! I have a ton of this in my sub occipitals from injury and stem cell PRP injections. Didn’t heal well. How can I get it out. It’s excruating painful that is therapy resistant.
I'm sorry to hear that. I'm not sure how you get out of it, as I would have to see you in my office and do my workout in order to help guide you on this journey
i had a lip reduction done and the scar kinda shrunk and does not let me smile, will prp injections help? or, what i can do is remove that scar tissue and start anew and use the prp throughout the healing process to prevent really strong and thick scare? please please please let me know.
Did your Scar shrink even more and or get resolved? If you did get it resolved what did you do to get it resolved?? I have a scar on my bottom lip from a Lip Bisposy that I'm trying to treat
@@wesleyjones8895 I live in the Dominican Republic and my plastic surgeon here injects rounds of some type of enzyme that ate up all the scar tissue. Steroids will also do the same but they make you fat.

I had a surgery on my neck/spinal area about 10 years ago and I have had burning and tingling in my leg for about 6 or 7 year now, so you think it could be related??
scars can't be regenerated to normal skin, even with stem cell therapy. What can be do is improvement in the cosmetic appearance and improvement in tissue health, which may help with fascial gliding and reduction in pain (if there is pain associated with the scar). We use adipose stem cell therapy for scars
What are your thoughts on shockwave therapy? I used it to break up internal scar tissue, and it worked. However, eventually I had to go back after some months since some scar tissue came back. Is PRP a longer term solution to internal scar tissue?
Hi, I had a bunion surgery around 2 years ago. I’m wondering if scar tissue could be affecting the range of motion of the big toe? Or at least cause some pain when the toe is touched? Thank you
I had My Gallbladder Removed a Whole Year ago and I still have discomfort in the incision is this normal I am super active i box and workout sometimes I feel it everytime I do sit ups

I was told that because there is scar tissue wrapped around the sciatic nerve there is nothing that can be done except pain management..no thank you. Are there other options for me?
There are likely 40-50 other options for you, you just have to go exploring! You could work with someone like me, you could see a functional medicine or naturopathic doctor foe the fibro. There are a lot of different options

Dr. Timmerman - i have had several surgeries on my shoulder - just recently i had an MRI and XRAY performed on the shoulder - nothing was found to account for the catching and the snapping (good spacing in the joint - no signs of degenerative arthritis comparing these latest results to at least 5 years back - rotator cuff tendons are in good shape as well) - the doctor said it is most likely inflammation of the bursa (probably related to scar tissue) - there is no point in surgery to remove scar tissue as it would just come back - at least i know there is nothing fundamentally wrong but the catching and snapping is aggravating - what can i do at this point (sounds like PRP/STEM - PRP is a little pricey and STEM is very pricey)? any kind of PT?

I had a hepatectomy 9 years ago as a liver donor. After the surgery, i developed chronic pain over the scar area. I was taking meds and seeing a pain specialist plus doing hypnotherapy for almost 3 years to get over it. I am now 4 mo pregnant. Since 2 weeks ago, the scar and the surrounding area is becoming increasingly painful, affecting my daily activities. Im doing yoga and massaging the scar 2 to 3x a day to help me with cope. I. Wondering if it will get worse as the pregnancy progress. Ive voiced this to my obgyn but i dont think it is really his area of expertise. Any advice? Should i see a plastic surgeon or a dermatologist for this? Appreciate your input. Tq 🇲🇾
I'm terribly sorry to hear that. I would check out some videos on scars and scar work by a few people - The Ready State, Yoga Tune Up, and Stop Chasing Pain. As for direct treatments, it would be good to look into nerve hydrodissection with dextrose in your area. Dextrose is safe in pregnancy
What about deep scars from bone surgery and layered scars? My scars are old too. I think I have that tethering happening on lateral aspects of my feet whee I have quite a few scars.

Hello I have a thin long scar on my side / stomach from a kidney operation when I was born. 38 years later and I’m having trouble with it. Pain , uncomfortable feeling - sensation of having basically a wooden stick under my skin, my GP didn’t really care - what kind of specialist should I see? Im not sure hehi to google !- it’s really effecting me Would ice help? Castor oil pack?
you should see someone trained in nerve hydrodissection. Harder to find because that's not a specialty, but rather a type of injection that many different kinds of doctors are trained in. We've helped hundreds of patients with their scar pain, have you considered traveling to work with me?
I got stabbed in my stomach and everytime I’m doing scrapping over my scar. It feel hard in some spots and when I go over it it gives me a electric shock. Do you know why this is?
Can't predict if it will go away or not sorry. If it's been present for longer than a year, the odds are that it will persist. Scraping can sometimes aggravate neurogenic inflammation because it continues to aggravate the nerves. We want to get more blood flow to the area and also decompress the tissues a bit more. Light cupping over the scars can be really helpful for that. Check out stuff from Dr. Perry Nickelston, and if you try several different things for a few months and it's not getting better, you may want to explore a treatment called perineural injection therapy or nerve hydrodissection. That's how I approach nerve issues like that in my clinic.
I had molluscom as a minor on my abdomen/oblique area. My pdoc made the poor decision to use cryotherapy on them & it looks like hell. Hypertrophic scars.
