- Recently I reviewed the facelifted Suzuki Vitara, but I thought some of you may want a closer look at the infotainment system. So with that in mind, here is a video dedicated to the 7" touchscreen fitted to the SZ-T trim level of the Vitara.

@@VXEO I've got NO idea I'm afraid. You're best bet would be send it to a car audio specialist, or a main dealer, although I bet a main dealer will simply want to replace the unit. Thanks for watching 👍🏽.

Volume can be adjusted by sliding finger on volume bar, not just tapping + / -

Thank you for the review - I ordered a Vitara yesterday after a test drive, but we didn't even look at the 'infotainment' . Would appreciate how you actually connect it for Apple car play (is it wireless, or need a lead?), and what it looks like when you put music on a SD / USB card into it, plus again how good it actually sounds.
Ve ry useful, bought Suzuki s4xcross July should have read this earlier. Tricky working out the infotainment system than previous cars.

Hi Mr Channel Guy ! My wife’s daughter has just bought a new 2021 Suzuki Vitara. GLX awd. Do you have a comprehensive video explains all the buttons as well ? As in steering wheel, under air vent, side door and everywhere else.

I have an older infotainment system dated June 2012 on the manual, and an iPhone 5S. The phone is paired and successfully rings out but won’t accept calls. Any thoughts?
That's very strange... I'd recommend contacting your Suzuki dealer.
It's possible to slide the volume up and down. Tapping is not the only way. That's why it might seem a bit unhandy.

Is there any way to connect a Huawei mate 20 pro to play music. I can connect using Bluetooth but this only works for calls not media even when its charging my phone it say no phone connected
That's odd Paul because if it's connected via Bluetooth it should be able to play music. You may need to look in to the phone's setting or contact Huawei technical support or your local Suzuki dealer. Thanks for watching.
My Apple play in vitara 2021 was set up for right hand drive and has all of a sudden changed to left hand drive. How do I change it back as it is not as easy to use as the driver now. I.e accessing the home buttons.

How do you adjust the volume on the sat nav.Cannot hear Mine it's rubbish.
Go to the setings on the main screen that is where you will find the sound settings meny

@@CarObsession yeh i just found the options by opening satnav and then pressing the settings button. Lots of avoid stuff but no real options like in stand alone satnavs.

I notice you were using the sat nav in 2d. Does it have 3d capability? With motorway exits?
Hello Alan, thanks for watching. I'm not aware of any 3D functionality.
Yes it has 3D view.
Open satnav then press settings button on the right. All available options are there. I saw 3d but didnt try it.

Yep definitely connected for both , says no media file available when I press on media>Bluetooth . However I have plenty of music on my phone

Yes, the car has Bluetooth as standard.

There are meny videos about ifotaiment system and nobody, doens't say a word about sound quality?
Hi Jarkko, thanks for watching. I think there's a few good reasons for that. I'd say sound is quite a subjective thing, plus it's difficult to demonstrate a sound system on a TH-cam because you've got the potential copyright issues, and you've also got the fact of the viewer won't be hearing the sound system in person. They'll be hearing it through the speakers of their phone/PC/TV via my microphone, which is unlikely to give a true representation of the actual sound quality.
The radio-media-Bluetooth doesn’t work on my phone and just keeps playing the radio

@@CarObsessionThey might mean the 2022 model. Mine has a Pioneer head unit (no sat nav), which was fitted to Covid models according to the dealer. It’s a much better system.

Very rubbish centre module for a modern car. I've got this car as a hire whilst my 2004 crv is in garage. I've installed a Teyes Cc3 in mine and it's leaps and bounds better than this.

This infotainment system is junk. It won't stream music from your phone via the bluetooth without it sounding like a skipping cd. I have 2016 Vitara with a brand new head unit. It does this to all the android phones it was tested with. Mine, the dealer mechanic's etc. Plus there is no Aux input, a design over sight on the part of Suzuki & the usb input is only good if you put music on a usb flash drive. Over engineered junk. I'm about to replace mine with a car stereo head unit with an Aux input in it.
