I like the book a lot. Having said that, it was not something that I could just read through and say to myself that I got it so time to put it on the shelf. For me, it requires thought, analysis and experimentation. It’s not a thick book, but it has depth and there is a lot good information in it for those folks that are exploring new ideas for modern improvisation. It serves as a very good reference when I am looking for new ideas. Tim Miller’s 212121 book is also excellent and it is well organized. Having said that, I am certainly not an authority on either book; these are just my personal thoughts and opinions.
