hi, just wanted to let you know that because of your videos i started playing chess again after a 13 year break, currently at around 600 but thanks to you winning a lot of games recently! big thanks from luxemburg!
Hell ya finally a part 2. I’ve watched the original Max Lange video like 15 times and it’s my favourite opening. People don’t often put their bishop on c5 but I love how easy it is to just transition into the Italian instead
Ive never had such good sleep in my life but thanks to you i can get my eight hours and get a little bit smarter at the same time. My friends have started texting me to make me aware of your new uploads because they know how much i love your videos. shoutout to you mr achessmr
Humble request if I may (which I have seen people asking here and in other comments too): asmr London system for beginners to beginners+ 😊 Your way of explaining WHYs and positional analysis is so much fun and engaging. Keep it up Sir!!
Your approach and teaching ability has become so good. Focusing on the plans in a given opening has helped me remember the opening so much better than going deep into specific lines. Thank you for the very helpful videos! My only problem now is falling asleep before I can finish them.
your videos have made me really excited about chess!! ive never played until about a week ago, but love following along with your videos for a long time. thank you for creating such quality content :)
loved the video! I'm really enjoying the opening videos. Perfect balance between educational, entertaining, and tingly. I'd love to see a video on one of the more modern games played by modern top players, analyzing a game where both players seemed to know 10-20+ book moves and exploring sidelines and sharp positions for either color, etc.
This was A.M.A.Z.I.N.G. I made sure to watch your Max Lange Attack video first. Also A.M.A.Z.I.N.G. Your content is brilliant. You are a brilliant teacher. Thank you so much. From New Zealand 🇳🇿
I love your videos, but here you have an advice, when you are counting material always count material that you have on the board not material that you have off the board, because it is easier to understand how active your pieces are and from a strategical point of view is better and also is more instructional for the viewers that way
Thank you so much for these interesting tutorials 👏. I started playing chess in 1984 but a few years later I stopped. Now I've got the passion back but there's a lot of rust to remove...😅 I'm studying, now I have time to do it. 👋
@ASMRChess Just a heads-up, the link in the description to your patreon is incorrect. I just points towards the same video already linked above in said description. Don't want you to miss out on aome potenial new patreons ;)
W vid. Can't wait to hit my opponents with this one. I see a million opening videos on youtube but rarely does one convince me leave my previous opening for a new one. My favorite of yours is the 2 knights attack study video and I have made it my weapon of choice since then. I'm not sure if this will be my main opening as I'm in too much love with giuoco pianissimo and its positional squeeze, but will definitely experiment with it in blitz games.
I definitely recommend watching his video on the 'Max Lange' then. There's plenty of relatively easy-to-remember, but tricky lines that you will probably get to play more often than some of these urusov lines. (At least, that has been my experience🤷)
The first video of yours that i had ever seen was actually the one on the Max Lange Attack. I had just started to learn how to play chess, and your video was what got me to learn my very first chess opening! I still remember how you said something along the lines of "if your opponent plays this, we would be entering the urusov Gambit. Let me know if you would like me to make a video on that too!", and I was quite disappointed, that you never did. I still regularly play that opening, so, (even though i have, by now, learned about the urusov through other means), thank you for actually still doing this!^^
To me the most important thing is the “Fischer rule” relating to the relative size of board and pieces. It states that two pawns lying down should be able to just fit inside a square on the board.
It most surely does! You are truly in a state of being able to receive honors and you hereby receive the honor of being an official ASMR Chess Afficionado - an award that comes with 247 extra ASMR points!

I like to think ASMR Chess plays his own opening; where he just does ASMR on the opponent and they fall asleep, winning by the tingles.
This was A.M.A.Z.I.N.G.
I made sure to watch your Max Lange Attack video first. Also A.M.A.Z.I.N.G.
Your content is brilliant.

What do you do if they capture with the knight first? Just sack the bishop on f7 with a follow up queen attack?
could you make a video about the catalan opening?
Hey i Love your Videos, do you Plan on doing more whispered Style videos? I think many people would prefer them from an asmr perspective :)

What would you guys say is the best chess board size? I have 2 20 inch boards looking for a good analysis setup
To me the most important thing is the “Fischer rule” relating to the relative size of board and pieces. It states that two pawns lying down should be able to just fit inside a square on the board.
What board do you use?
hope you are doing well :)
I’m fast today
