Just so people know, Shadow is not the definitively best magic. It's bad in all hybrid builds, because other magics also have really good base stats and extremely good synergies. It's a really good mage magic, but you won't get ANY value from your second magic unless it's for utility. If you aren't like me, and you actually like using your second magic or hybrid builds, then you should use lightning, water, explosion, ice, wood, or snow. All of them have high base stats and synergies. I'm pretty sure light is very underrated compared to shadow, because it has synergies and combos with it's own status to get up to 0.925x dmg.

Shadow on imbue is 1.025x damage 1.1x speed and 1x size

Shadow is 0.95x damage sand is 0.975x yes sand is more but put in game the difference isn't credible at all. At 90 power a sand blast would do like 6 more damage than a shadow blast meanwhile shadow is roughly 27% faster than it. The only actual advantage sand has are some 10% damage synergies and 1 20% you can't even get without being a savant with at least 100 strength or using gels. Also, sand doesn't even work in water. So, yeah.

@@Deveshkha Getting a 10 second long status with magma or acid boosting damage by 10%. So hitting one magma placed explosion gives 10 second of 10% extra damage. Plus the .025x extra damage it already has. There is a clear benefit to taking sand over shadow. Plus isn't sand's blind way better? That alone can be worth something. Also, light is faster than shadow and has 0.925x dmg with max light stacks. So by your definition, light is completely superior to shadow. Stop trying to act like shadow is the best in the game. You're just unoriginal, and you can't admit you just pick it because youtubers say so.

@@Deveshkha Plus, I read on the wiki that iron leg gets buffed by sandy for 10% damage, and sand gets buffed by bleed for 10% damage. So for warlock, sand is extremely powerful and definitely beats shadow.
