Don’t normally comment, but discovering Pomplamoose have been one of the few highlights of my 2020. Lots of people have had a more difficult time than I have this year but I want to say I’m greatful for finding your channel and thanks for the enjoyment you’ve brought me. Here’s to a tremendous 2021!
Yep..hearing you... after Losing My Job due to Refusing to get that Filthy Experimental Vaccination injected into My body, I'm not sure WTF I'm going to do yet... taking it each day at a time. But, Bands like this help 👌 a lot...great fun.
I am about a year behind you in 2021 but so agree. One of my biggest joys in life is discovering new music that just blows you away. Pomplamoose is the big one for me right now with so many amazing songs. And then I've just come across this...
All Instruments: Sam Wilkes. I was blown away by his performance. I'm sure he can juggle cats, no problem. He's fantastic. Loved the dual image of him one on guitar and another on keyboards. And Joey Genetti's mixing is smooth as silk. Nataly, you run a damned good organization, just another of your talents I presume.
That was CRAZY GOOD! The guitar at the end sounded just like the guitar bit at the end of "Gypsy", which seems to show that you guys really know your Fleetwood Mac (:
The vibes so soothing, smooth... psychedelic... like bring you to some kind of dream/nostalgic flashback.. the same vibes too is from twin peaks soundtracks
3:36 The guitar coda from "Gypsy"!!!!! That's my favorite part of that song! Very cool to incorporate that into this arrangement. This whole arrangement is great (reminiscent of Bowie and Pat Metheny), but that coda took it to another level for me :)
The fact that I love Nataly almost as much as Stevie Nicks fills my heart, and jack is an amazing artist also. Pamplemoose and every one related to them has brought much joy into my life. I can't wait for their next album "Conte Dawn" with them naked on the cover. ;)
Got a new favourite, next to your “old school” French songs. This is good. Very good. So much vintage. All from that Moog bass to the noisy snare. Love this production
Totally loving the '80s vibe here! Also, not sure if I'm hearing it right, but it sounds like you sneaked in the chord progression from Gypsy from 3:36 onwards? If so, that's clearly a stroke of genius, it fits this rendition of Dreams so well! Thanks for this amazing present!
Natalie's voice is so unique and stands out every time I am in a mall. I am one of your biggest groupie. AND JAck is such a goofball just like myself. It is so refreshing to see band mates having fun throughout the creative process. Poplamoose's interpretation of songs is unparallel.
If I ever had to pick a favorite song that has endured my entire life, it'd be Dreams. I've known this song since before I was born because my dad turned 19 the year this song came out, and his music niche is 60s, 70s, and early 80s rock, the stuff that was out when he was a kid and into his young adulthood. I knew the Rumors album by sight from a very young age and I played our Fleetwood Mac cassettes to death because we didn't have a CD player in my dad's old truck. Mind you, I was born in '95. My old man STILL has boxes of cassettes from the 80s and 90s, but none of the ones we used to listen to still exist because they wore out. After the cassettes were gone and the old truck was gone, I lost this music for a long time, being told it was stupid and old compared to 2000s hip hop and punk. I grew to love punk and what eventually became dubstep and some EDM, but a lot of modern music never had the soul in it that I felt from the 50s-80s. Fast forward to college when I finally had unlimited access to the internet, and I drowned myself in all the things I'd been told were stupid and old, and newer things I'd been told were nerdy and cringy, and today I am happy as can be listening to Fleetwood Mac and playing DnD. Finding Pomplamoose YEARS ago, though, I rediscovered the soul of music in indie bands like them and I believe I live in the absolute best era of music possible- everything recorded for the past century plus can be listened to with a quick search, modern indie bands are making beautiful new music and making amazing covers of previous with old souls but new sounds, and it's all accessible all the time. The world can really suck sometimes... but there are some beautiful things about being alive in the age of limitless information. After all, Jack and Nataly said it already: The Internet Is Awesome.
What a great New Year's gift! Thanks guys! You were my greatest musical discovery of 2020 and helped lift up my mood the whole year. It is only logical that it ends with your music, too :) To the new, great 2021 with lots of cool music :)
Some songs hold special memories which come back each time you hear the music. This song always reminds me of a Californian girl whom I met in Denmark when we both studied as exchange students in a High School there. I had never heard of Fleetwood Mac before and she made a tape (yes, it was in the early 90's when we still used to listen to tapes and LP's) for me with their songs. And I really listened to them a lot that year. Still love this music and always remember that girl eventhough I do not know where she is or how she is doing now!! (Where ever you are, I wish you are doing good Caralyn!!)
Wow, Sam Wilkes, the enthusiastic bass player, playing the keyboards and the guitar I did not know he was this versatile as well as the producer on this one!
I dont know if you are going to be able to read this, but here I go, I discovered you and the band moths ego and I am so glad I did, indeed. You guys make the best covers ever, I am from Mexico and I dont have so many friends, with the ones I have its enough, but what I trying to say is that I was surprised that few of my friends know about you, and now when we are together, even though we are not supposed to, but we do, we listen to you. Thank you. Hello from Mexico.
We have a sound system at the plant that we each get to play music over. I played a bunch of my favorite Pomplamoose tracks during my session a few months ago and tons of people got pissed. They hated it, and now they won’t let me participate any more. So many closed-minded people. I love the music you create.
This was very good played at normal speed, but I changed the TH-cam playback setting to 1.25 and played it again. That change made this rendition of the song astounding!
Im here about a hour into a "just discovered" fuelled pomplamoose binge. Where, oh where, on Gods Green and Bountiful earth have you guys BEEN all my life?!?
A Fleetwood Mac melody used for this Fleetwood song with that mid 80s pop sound. Nice! This is why I like you guys since first hearing you on the Toyota commercial.
Hi Guys,If in these turbulent times i need a 'Place' to chill ,i always seem to navigate to Pomplamoosemusic and find ''Peace'' Your amazing music has a wonderful calming effect and i always feel so much better after a session here.Bless you for being available.Cioa gratzi
Now I don’t have an over the top home audio setup, just a few humble mismatched speakers in a 5.1 configuration with a secondhand pair of 5-driver towers as my stereo L/R. But after listening to this both on the big speakers and on the iPad’s 4 speaker setup, there’s no justice to how amazing this track was mixed and recorded on these mobile device speakers. I just wanted Jack & Nat to know, that I may had a glimpse at how you intended your music to sound, and it sounds truly remarkable.
Oohhhh a new video!!! A beautiful cover!! Loving that vibes 🎵🎶❤️ Ending the year in the best way possible with Pomplamoose by my side you're so amazing guys. Love youuuu❤️❤️
It's hard to improve on such a classic song but that bass beat in "Dreams" angelic. Such a great re-imagining of the song. I look forward to your future projects!!!
I can see myself driving the Mustang to this on a cloud cold day driving up a mountain through a forest something that resembles Oregon. The smell of nature and the rumble of the V8 Engine hoping this is what heaven is like. A long road and a Mustang.
I have been listening to a lot of Louis Cole lately and while I love Nick Campbells work with you, I was thinking Sam would slot in so well with Pomplamoose. As it turns out, it's true! Thank you for making this a reality!

Bonne et heureuse année 2021 et bravo ! Très bon musicien et une voix magnifique en anglais et qui me va droit au coeur en français évidemment ...Bravo et merci !
Sorry, what's that BPM again?
I never knew it could get that specific, but obviously you crushed it! 😅
Beethoven was born in 1770. Makes you think.
Beethoven also knew the guy who invented the metronome. Makes you think even harder.
the harmony is just so complex you think it's definitely not that slow. oh wait. that's the life-giving number. nvm.

Nice re-envision of this one. Great to hear Jack singing again too!
I love the voice of Jack is so relaxing to me

I've been very tempted to do that.

@@Pomplamoose I would like this reply 100X if I could.

👍
Sam Wilkes on KEYBOARD?!?! How can i not love this cover?
The stare she does down the camera is both completely vacant and intensely full of emotion a the same time, I love it! So captivating
This is like if Dreams came out in the 80s instead. Love this cover!
Yes! That is a good hot take on it too. I love the synth and the backbeat. Well done. Reverb rocks too.
That was exactly my thoughts while listening to this. 🥰
The beat reminds me of This is not America by D. Bowie
Yes, I thought the same thing! Petshop Boys vibes running high!
Normally love you guys but you should leave this song alone because this sucks
That was CRAZY GOOD! The guitar at the end sounded just like the guitar bit at the end of "Gypsy", which seems to show that you guys really know your Fleetwood Mac (:
this!!!! The Buckingham banjo homage at the end is simply perfect!
The vibes so soothing, smooth... psychedelic... like bring you to some kind of dream/nostalgic flashback.. the same vibes too is from twin peaks soundtracks
What a masterful execution on this classic Fleetwood Mac song and you have done a phenomenal job!!!! Awesome as always 🥰👌
Yes - wonderful cover Nataly and Jack. Happy New Year everyone - 2021 has to be better doesn't it?!
3:36 The guitar coda from "Gypsy"!!!!! That's my favorite part of that song! Very cool to incorporate that into this arrangement. This whole arrangement is great (reminiscent of Bowie and Pat Metheny), but that coda took it to another level for me :)

This is a first time for me! I'm in love!! 🤍 1/5/2021
I haven't stopped listening to this in weeks now.
This cover has been broadcast to us from the 80's and I love it.
Not only can Sam Wilkes play keys, he can STAND!
and he can talk !
But can he stand this comment?!?!
Took me a quick second to recognise him behind the mask. But the head bobs are unmistakable! Great job guys! Love the music 🥰🥰

I don't know what but there is something… this 80s feeling, these clear sweeping sounds, the way of minimalistic calm singing - it's so … creamy cool
Nataly you SMASHED this. It's totally diffrent to Stevie's version, but you have got the atmosphere just right. It's a song in it's own right.
Wow, Sam Wilkes, the enthusiastic bass player, playing the keyboards and the guitar I did not know he was this versatile as well as the producer on this one!
One of my favourite songs. Great work!
I love the fact that you can do music and be famous on TH-cam! This is a good inspiration also for me
yup, all you gotta do is create Patreon first! 😉
One of my absolute favorite songs. You nailed this cover and did it to your own.
First time I've seen Jack on backing vocals. A very subtle use of it and a brilliant presentation all round.
Can't believe Sam is playing a Kent bass. Someone is finally giving them a good name. I never thought I'd see the day.
Kent *Piccolo Bass!! I modified it !
Now it can’t be denied anymore that this world needs a Pomplamoose cover of “The Miracle of Love”, with Nataly and Jack on vocals
Oooooh man it is SOOOOO GREAT to hear Jack singing!! Nataly, you're amazing as always! FANTASTIC COVER!! HAPPY NEW YEAR!!
