@@OverlandingOzarks seeing how much you enjoy your rig makes me want a wj again because I never will be able to do that in my wk2. Solid axle and quadradrive is amazing.
Anyone else have a really good experience with the 4.7? I drove my moms around when I was 16 and despite my mom never servicing it, it ran great. It would also run neck and neck with early 2000's mustang gt's up to 100mph. When the radiator went out at 230k the engine was slowly starting to lose performance and smoke a little. But I know it would've lasted a lot longer with religious maintenance. Definitely looking to buy one in the future to go with my Camaro.
My first 4x4 was an 01 Grand with 3 inches of lift and 33s. The v8 died twice in that jeep(it had issues). BUT 5 jeeps later and I am thinking, a v8WJ would be a fun crawler rig or overlander build.
Your wj looks amazing but you have forgotten what i think is the most important item for overlanding.... A winch. You need a winch brother. Better safe than sorry. Again, love your jeep.
@@daryokenar6215 There is a company called HK offroad. They make a hidden winch mount tha hide the winch inside the factory bumper and it looks super clean. But even if they didn't have that option, in my opinion, i think it is better to sacrifice looks for safety. Specifically if you wheel alone. I'm gonna go as far as installing one in the back of my wj. The majority of the times i have gotten stuck, I had to be pulled from the back because going farther forward was not a option.
i own a 21 JLUR and a 04' WJ 4.7 HO when i go wheeling if it's nice out i take the wrangler if it's not i take the grand cherokee shes got 278k on her and still takes a beaten in the woods
Hi Do you need some great lighting for your car to help you better driving, off-road. We're the pro auto lighting manufacturer for nearly 20 year and we're looking for sponsorship!
Great video! Looking forward to see where you can take this beast! Did you have to upgrade anything besides the lift to run 35s like axle shafts? What drivetrain does your Jeep have?
Ever had any major problems with these cherokees? I'm thinking about picking one up. Just curious and what would you say is the best years for these rigs
I had an 01 with the factory v8 and the engine blew at 130K. Then the crate replacement engine blew at 80k. SOME, not all, of the v8 engines in the 99-02 were just bad and oil pumps failed.
Owned four of them. One of my favorite Jeeps. Great blend of performance, modern amenities and still with SRA/SFA.
I agree. WJ's are so special! Thanks for watching!
WJs do NOT mess around.
They rock, even stock standard, esp the V8s, on and off-road.
Beasts.
Yes! Love mine!
What’s esp?
Love that 4.7 sound. I know everybody dumps on the 4.7 but I never had issues with mine.
Love my 4.7! Has been great to me!
Only ones that had issues are non car lovers that believe in 10k mile oil changes.
I love my 2000 WJ 4.7, has 210000 on her and she purrs like a kitten. Depends how you take care of them.
Very nice video!! Congrats! Waiting for the next one! As a Mopar lover....nothing to say about the machines!! Wow!
Thanks for watching!
Loved watching you drive over that Ford !!!!
Glad you enjoyed it!

Did you regear? And if you did do you still have the varilock system ?
No, and yes I still have the varilock. Running 1600 RPMS at 70mph on stock gears and 35's
Очень крутое видео! 👍
Great video! Does your roof tent work with the stock roof rack? What brand is it?
Thanks for watching! I made crossbars for it to sit on. The tent is a Bigfoot tent

Annoying music 🤮

WJ's are the best. 1999-2004. 4.0 or 4.7
I had an 01 with the factory v8 and the engine blew at 130K. Then the crate replacement engine blew at 80k. SOME, not all, of the v8 engines in the 99-02 were just bad and oil pumps failed.
I have heard that 08 Had the least complaints and 10 had the best frame and suspension setup
Lifted? And what size tires has?
