Another great vid of the WJ/ZJ showcasing their off road prowess. Derek's WJ is super clean and tastefully modified. I daily drive a 4.0 ZJ so it's great to see others out having fun and I get to vicariously experience the trails and listen to that straight six growl. Wonderful. Lockers are certainly warranted but not crucial to having a great time out on the trails.
Enjoy your videos. I'm riding an 04 WJ Limited 4.7. Currently 2-1/2" and just one size up on tires. I do some towing with mine and daily driver. I installed front receiver and have a winch plate. Just throw it in the back when going offroad. No need to carry around the extra weight. Those winches are heavy.... Hoping to get my battery cables run to the back soon. Then I can winch from front or the back. Are either of you running front or rear lockers? I'm considering a lunch box type locker for the rear. Again... Really enjoy your videos!!
Thats awesome! I have a winch waiting to get installed! I always thought it was cool when people make it to where they can use it in the front or back! My WJ has quadradrive/limited slip, and the ZJ is open diff. Thanks for watching!
Ahhhh I wanted to go this weekend but it was -7° where I am . Way to cold I know I woulda snapped something . Atleast ur ride looks almost identical to mine so il live thru ur WJ this weekend lol
Great video! What drive train does your Jeep have? I have a quadra drive and I'm wondering if you needed to upgrade axle shafts, ball joints or anything of that sort to run the 35s?
@@OverlandingOzarks were both Jeeps stock? Seems like the ZJ front diff had seen some things, would barely kick in to distribute power to the stuck wheel
I live by us67 and AR is a off roaders dream I can go a couple miles east and there's more mud than a truck can handle or a couple miles west and more Hill's than a truck can handle personally I like the overlanding trail riding mostly the woods and ruts gears and d44 up front and the Cherokee could be a beast good video. Looks like a nice place to ride
Thanks! I'm not sure I got them on amazon a long time ago! I believe that you need the short style for these WJ's so just remember that. They are led bulbs though

Where at in Arkansas is this? I lived in the Benton/Bryant area years back.
By the Pig trail about an hour SE from Fayetteville
It’s near Oark. Great trails out there. Can’t wait to go back!
YES!!! SNOW RUNS! How is that tent in the cold?
It's good! Working on getting a diesel heater so I can be real warm during some snow camping later this year

If that was from the snow yesterday. You did some quick editing. Hate we missed it. We are out of state right now. But people sent me plenty of pics
It was from yesterday! Right off of the pig trail. Got caught in a snowstorm heading back to Northwest Arkansas. Thanks for watching!
@@OverlandingOzarks we did some of those trails Thanksgiving. I recognized some of it. But it looks totally different in the snow
I just discovered y’all the other day. I have an XJ and willing to wheel any weekend. I’m in Flippin AR
I smell winch around the corner lol
