Honestly man not hating on sneaker heads but 70% of the people you interacted with are either flat our scammers , terrible business people or just super low intelligence.... sorry to hear you got scammed by the dude... appreciate you trying to go out of your comfort zone and doing something new!
The dude suggesting you scam people into thinking your raising money for a charity and his dad their not good people..dude with the clothing brand at the end - china isnt a 3rd world country & bet you 50 bucks his clothes are made in china and shipped in as most all clothing companies do , saw how he acted when you pressed more....
Just a crappy scene not trying to make negatives but the sneaker scene attracts a lot more low intelligence people then things like sports card , memorbilia , antiques.. im sure there's some great people in the sneaker scene.. but overall its a dumpy crowd what else can you say.
