Just getting started: cleaning, grading, storage, etc. Your video is very helpful. What is best source (site or app) online to determine current prices? Before putting time and effort into any given card, it would be good to know it it's even worth it.

I like how you just gloss over the LaDainian Tomlinson cards. Usually each generation kinda knows the decade or so before from their parents. Clearly not you.

Great video. Helped me for sure. So far I've noticed I wished it would show the shine of the card better. Like on the Prizm Silvers. You really get that shine on light boxes. But maybe there's a setting I can play with.

Oh my, pretty impressive task. If I ever bought one million cards, it would take the rest of my lifespan to deal with them. Not that's anything wrong with that.

If you do it again, you could take some boxes back from your friend's house to work at your apartment. Thus would save you gas and time, as well as prevent you from getting overwhelmed by the mountain of boxes. Great video. Thanks for sharing the experience.

Why wouldn't you just use the software that came with the scanner instead of pushing the button to scan. You need to work on your stuff. Your scans are off on one side.

After having sorted by price, Do you organize by player/card type/or team?

I have this same scanner - recently started getting terrible verticle lines showing up on scans. Have any luck getting rid of them? Ive cleaned all the wheels and sensors multiple times

For dollar boxes, how do you organize them. Do you have say a $5 box with value $3-7 or do you do a $1 box and load it? Divide by teams? What is the standard for $1 card? lol base rookie?

I have to agree with tip #6. Trading is the way to go. I have been a collector for over 35 years, and just recently started trading. I have found it to be absolutely great. I trade my duplicate cards, and cards that I don't have a lot of interest in myself. I have built up my personal collection and even traded up for some nice graded cards. Another thing is just be nice to whoever you talk to, you never know what might transpire from a good, clean, healthy conversation.
