Turned out great! I'm going to build one and I will have a wall on the left side like you and a base cabinet that will be tight to the right side. My question is if I have to pull either the washer or dryer out how will I get them out and off of the pedestal?
Thank you and if you have to pull them off I'd start with the dryer since that would be the lighter of the 2 and will slid easily and then the washer will be more manageable with the dryer out of the way
I have pedestals on my 18-year old (now dying) Kenmore w/d combo. We have pulled them out many times over the years for new hoses, servicing, cleaning, things falling behind, etc. I agree with you.
I want to build this and was thinking of having some sort of lockable appliance track wheels on the bottom. Any thoughts? Maybe add and additional metal latch secured into a wall stud?
That would a pretty good idea auctully then you can access the back side with ease also if the wheels lock then you shouldn't have a need to attach to a wall stud
2x4 pine boards for the frame and 3/4 inch plywood for top and sides and locust hardwood for the face frame , the drawers are made from 3/4 inch plywood also
Fantastic build, Jamie! 😃
It looks great there! I really liked the idea!
Stay safe there with your family! 🖖😊
Thank you and also the new house build video should be up in about a week or 2
@@jlistdiy Nice! Looking forward to it! 😃
Great video. Great build. Great job 💪🏽
Im using your video as a reference for a single washer pedestal with a draw for detergent storage. Thank you
Thank you and good luck with your build
Lovely! but how do you get the machine up there? How does one service and clean behind that?
You are killing it Big J
Thank you MK

Ok that makes sense. I wasn't sure how the dryer vent would flex that far and having the front edge of the pedestal.
Great build and job thx for sharing enjoyed it
Thank you
Washing Jeans at the start of the high speed spin the washer will bounce a bit. Will the wash stay on this pedestal?
So far I haven't had any issues with movement
There is a reason the appliance manufacturers use individual platforms. You can move them to clean behind and work on the appliances.

Did you use a plan for yours or did you just go along with your own plan?
@@fufactory9 I use these plans as a reference learn.kregtool.com/plans/laundry-pedestal-build-plans/
How is he not missing a fingertip or two with the wobbly saws and routers not bolted down?
I know right the guy is crazy 🤪
By keeping his fingers away from the blades while they're spinning.
Killed it 🔥
Thank you

Why would somebody who's trying to learn how to build something? Want to see it 100 mph? Is that where we're at? We're that impatient
You should let me help you grow your channel
I'm interested 🤔
