Thanks for the review, very concise. Been playing the PPwr E since it released. I hit 300-500 balls in a one hour session from my ball machine for a paddle needing "break in". My old JUGGS balls are hard as a rock.LOL
I’ve had it two days and really like everything about it. Just came from the Selkirk LuxxS2 and needed more power but the pre break in control is there as far as I’m concerned I’m a 4.4 DUPR with about 75 tournament matches
Hi Steve, I continue to enjoy your content. And I’ve come to respect your opinions on the playability, value and differences between the paddles you have spoken about. I have been playing and enjoying the Body Helix K-4. And just got the Invader and like it so far. Do you have an opinion about why the NxtGen Valor Pro hasn’t received more attention? “Titanium” in the lay up with great power and pop? And for less than $150? Seems like I should order one, right? Thanks again for all your insight and effort
I would say post break in the gearbox has more power than the Scorpeus. A bit less control though and that’s generally about it. Scorpeus will also have a bigger sweet spot 😊
@stspickleball thank you. I have the scorpeus 3s now, love how it plays, but concerned how it's not usap certified. Is there any other paddle that plays close to the scorp 3s?
@@ericbooya yes indeed! 100% I am. I’m going to be analyzing that soon. Never done a video in that format so I’m trying to make sure the quality is there 😊🙏
How long did it take for yours to break in? I've got 15 hours into the Hyper and I actually enjoyed it from the start. I've got a 30-day trial and wanted to see how it stacked up with my opened up Pulse V since it would be a bump up in power/pop. I've got no issue with control, especially at the kitchen line, like you said, easy to let the paddle do more of the work. At $275 it's not cheap and not sure if I'll keep it after 30 days, especially if the break in doesn't cap. If I send it back, I'll keep maining my Pulse V until the new 11SIX24 Power Vapor drops in early Feb at $105 less than the Hyper.
The high price hesitation I get. GB gets patents on all their tech which is very expensive, so they need to get it back somewhere. GB makes a sold product though.
@@kimleith1378 yeah, I was on Team Gearbox for a couple years and they have a strong business model, no affiliate discounts, "brand reps", etc. I think the Hyper is their best paddle, as long as they can control the break-in, which they haven't done yet on these power paddles. I've got 3 more weeks to find out with mine before keeping it or returning it for a different power paddle, likely the 11SIX24 Power Vapor.
@@kylepickleball For sure I support GB. Have had 6 differnt models since 2016. Raphael is a genius. Currently have 14 differnt paddles in my quiver. I'm a bit obsesed. For sure will add the HYPER later after the hype dies down.
Thanks for all information you have provided and your accurate opinion. Please, I would like you to do a review of the new 11SIX24 paddles. There are three new models. Their name are Pegasus, Vapor and Hurache X. These should be released in two month. I also wish you a happy Christmas.

Comments like these help everyone thank you!
I assume this paddle has less power than a gearbox power pro elongated, would you agree? If so, how much less?

How would you compare this to the Paddletek ESQ series, specifically power?
How would you compare this to a MOD TA 15 ?
Honestly, the mod has quite a bit more power
@@TeddyLawhead that's easy, the Hyper doesn't break
Lol this is the correct response
Just got announced on the delisting, so there's that
How would you compare the hyper to the joola 3s scorpeus 16mm? Which has better firepower, control, overall playability?

Not related to this video, but you still planning on releasing a Titan drill video?

I'd say around 6-7 play sessions of 2-3 hours each. So maybe 20 hours ish.

How long would you say the break-in period took?
About 6-7 solid play sessions of 2-3 hours each
@stspickleball thank you!
Comparing their performance to other paddles , I think Gearbox paddles are over engineered.
