Those speakers look fantastic 👍
They are beautiful. And, sound like music is supposed to sound.
For big rooms we use our ETX rig...nothing fills out a room like a stack of 18" subs. It's big but we discuss it in advance with the client and they usually go for function over form. Other venues just can't handle big subs or just don't have the space for them.

I have the 28 g2s and 28 g3s. I have been going back and forth between the 44 g2s and the P900s. The look of the P900s have me sold. Your the first person that I have came across that have both. As far as sound what are your thoughts between the 2?

The P900's are about 5k each, the maui 44's are 2800 and sometimes less.
@@Enonymouse_yes but with the p900 you’re buying the design itself for the most part, not so much the performance. P900 is more “hi-fi” rather than “sheer power”

Bro, we've gotta get you to NWA sometime soon.
A pair of Thomann Pyrit 212a’s and a pair of rcf 910’s will destroy those for clarity and low end and save you 6K whilst you’re at it. Don’t get me wrong they look class but there has to be more than spending 8k on speakers only to find 6 moths down the line they don’t live up to expectations and you have to take a big hit on shifting them on.
You’d be better having the 28g3 and a pair of add on subs for larger events. It’s ALWAYS the bass that lacks on the columns….ALWAYS

I’ve had these out about 6 times. I’m thinking these are good for up to a 200 guests. A bit of a disappointment. Your thoughts?
We’re not disappointed at all. They handle big rooms with 250+ for us very well if we can position the disbursement properly. I will say, the Maui 44 G2s crank for our biggest crowds.
@@ozarkmixdj Good to hear. I have only had them in medium size rooms. I know When I turn the bass knob up, it starts to pump better.
Right, we've found the sweet spot is the gain knob at 2-3 o'clock and the sub at 3 is optimal for bigger crowds.
@@ozarkmixdj I run gain on speaker at full (no hiss !). Bass at 12 or 1. Getting red blinky light and meters sometimes peaks with a room of 150 guests/dancers and back off. Gain structure on mixer is correct. I also run EV 50s, J8s and Evox 12s and get what I expect out of them

@@ozarkmixdj I haven’t used at an event yet but in testing, it’s the best sounding speaker I’ve ever heard. I’ve owed every generation of the Bose L1s. It’s very heavy. It’s so elegant! They will connect together in Bluetooth but I was hoping for a master slave just by running a cable to 1. That does not seem to be the case.
I'd hoped that too! If I figure it out, I'll let you know.
