Yes definitely put a kill switch on her I run killer b kill switch on all my 1/5 scale gas rcs just in case I've seen them just take off like a bat out of hell and do some major damage

Smart buy is a Pico switch fail-safe. They will engage the kill switch shutting down the motor in case of a radio glitch/runaway. As a bonus you can set them to work off your 3rd channel and have remote shut down on the radio incase you get in a funky case and need to kill the motor.
Yea i don't know what it is about the DBXL but i wanted one so bad that i traded straight up for a Rovan Baja5B with a TSK-B class1 Kraken conversion cage kit with it to and have been loving this thing but im afraid to take it out cause it looks like i need to replace the worn driveshafts on it but they still work but with red loctite in the drive shaft pins lol
Nice video! Would highly recommend putting a engine kill switch in it don't need a runaway with a 32cc motor! =0) I would go with possibly a Killer Bee one. I have the dynamite one but I've heard and seen videos of them failing. One video a guy installed the dynamite one brand new it wouldn't stop the engine even though it was indicating it was stopping it from running.

I'm thinkin it's needs a new battery, but it's running great 👍. Plenty fast ,might have to gear down if it's going to run hot. You got a few nice rips in though, that's what I was looking for!👍💯

Turtle racing snapper clutch(if made for rc) system, put some pipe wrap on. Hostile tire might make something with more bite and last longer. Hostile uses car tire rubber.

I did it for 13 years in nyc with a hpi baja ss. Stored it up on the wall on stainless steel shelving ralls mounted to the wall shelving and sat on the self supports. Just have to spray off all gas residue and plug the exhaust. No smell GO FOR IT! YOU KNOW YOU WANT ONE😉🙃

Hey Earl! Nice mod on the DBXL with the new engine! The beast seems a little nose heavy when you running up the slope and jumping it alittle bit there maybe a spare tire mounted on the back cage area after you get the exhaust lowered down but the engine sounds Great and it moves with that gear setup great to get use to it bud! I put a Killer Bee switch on my KM T2000 and good fined on the power connection on the power supply I usual have issues with the on/off switch! Great videos!😯😉👍📹👋👋👋✔️💯

Its a 2 stroke. Gas is way cheaper than nitro like stated above
Best place to temp a gasser is at the base of the plug. That is where all the magic is happening and will be the best place for engine temps.

New Tires and I’d probably gear up 2-3 teeth. Looks like it wants a bit more speed. Yep lose power to the servo get a runaway, bad deal for everyone..
Kill switch is a very good investment, save your rig,and ass at the same time.new TIRES would help.

Yes they have no wheel speed to keep the front up it would need a round top jump to land kinda level but anything with a lip kicks the back end up 👍👍
