- It’s that time of the year again! As 2019 is coming to an end, I present the annual video of my fan collection for this year! Like the previous years, this montage showcases a large portion of my collection, mainly focusing on fans I’ve acquired in 2019 along with many good examples from previous years. Enjoy!
As I’ve done in the past years, I’ve excluded many fans to keep the video at a reasonable length.

TheSuperFanMan where did you get the bayport and where did you install it
I bought the Bayport new-old-stock from the Home Depot online. The Home Depot here in Canada still sells them online, which I found very surprising since it’s nearly 15 years old. I installed it in my room. I took down the Holden and replaced it with the Bayport. I like it a lot, much better than the Holden.

I honestly don’t think I have one specific reason why I like fans, but I’ve always been fascinated by the science of electric motors and when I was little, I used to play around with little DC motors and make fans with them. Also I’ve always admired the evolution of fan technology, as they were one of the very first devices to put electric motors into practical use. Seeing the difference between fans from the 1880s and now is pretty cool. Back in 2014, I got myself a personal desk fan to use, but little did I know that I had just bought the very fan that started my collection. From then on, as I familiarized myself with the fan enthusiast fandom, I began collecting vintage fans as well. Believe it or not, sometimes I still wonder myself what exactly sparked my interest in fans!

oh, A good friend of me has a ceiling fan and its one of the first fans in the country, requires quite a large transformer but still runs flawlessly every day.

It’s the same here too! There are plenty of fans sold in the US that weren’t sold in Canada.
@TheSuperFanMan it’s also like here too, most fans in your collection were not sold in the UK and over in the UK we have fans that were not sold in the US or Canada (I think) e.g: we have tesco branded desk fans (I have the tesco 9 inch desk fan model DF96 and DF98), we have xpelair taurus fans (I have a T8 brown and a T8 gray) we have pifco fans and we have GEC fans

I have a similar fan that my parents probably bought in the Philippines or Guam in the ‘60’s. It works perfectly except that the blue blade broke years ago. Could you pass along any tips on where I might find a replacement blade in some color other than white? It’d be great to find an original blue blade. It’s approximately 16” wide. Thanks
Those coloured plastic blades are no longer used by manufacturers today so I’d say the best way to get a replacement is to look for second-hand fans. Thrift stores, local buy/sell sites and eBay are some good places to start looking. One thing is that some older oscillating fan manufacturers used proprietary blade hub designs that doesn’t fit on other branded fans. It will be a guaranteed fix if you can find an exact replacement fan.

I had only realised but I think the only time that Garrison fan gets used is in the fan collection videos lol. She still looks good and is still going strong.
You’re absolutely right lol. It goes into hibernation all year and comes out just for the special occasion at the end of the year.
@@TheSuperFanMan I saw a video of it about 6 years ago, I completely forgot it also has a clip-on addition too. But it goes to show it is a reasonable fan, You haven't had to showcase or oil it in a long time and its still going strong. And I also just noticed you always start with the Garrison too. Must be a sorry note for sitting in hibernation all year. lol

Hi from indonesia. My son loved Fan, Hexaust fan, Air cooler, air conditioner too from 3 years old. He was excited to clean the fan, open and close ..so funny yes.. 😆😆

Those fans were set to low so they were not able to fully get to speed in that short clip.

Two XPOWER fans...nice haul, so what's your preference, the P21 Axial fan or the FC-100 Air Circulator.
I personally like the P-21AR a bit more. The longer cord and the auxiliary power outlets are more useful in my day to day usage.

What happened to the Honeywell HT-900?
I didn’t include it because I decided to pair the HT-809 with the white HT-800C. I prefer to have older fans in the video so I left it out this year.

Many fans in this video are no longer in production as they are older/vintage models. Of the fans that are still being made, I would say the Boneco F120 is the best small room fan I own.

Are you going to use the song “sky high” for your 2020 fan collection montage if you do one?
That’s unlikely. It’s been a while since I last listened to it but I think that song is too electronic and high pitched. I don’t think it would be very pleasant to listen to for over 10 minutes when I edit and extend it. But yes, there will definitely be a fan collection montage for 2020.

I believe it was a safety regulation we had. It lasted from about the late 70s till the mid 90s.
Half of of my fans are from 1930s to 90s
