@@TheSuperFanMan BTW, did you know that Super fans can lite on fire when they oscillate because the power cord in the fan rubs with the motor. I suggest putting electrical tape on the cord
That was an issue present on certain variants of the 18” pedestal fan models by SMC. None of the other sizes were recalled as far as I’m aware. I’ve done some tests and examinations on my Super fans and they don’t suffer from the issues. One of my 12” Super fans came from my high school, where it used to run 24/7 for years. The wire insulation is still like new.
There’s a lot of fans that are decent for that purpose. One good fan on Amazon is the Genesis 6” clip/desk fan. I have the same one just with another brand name and it’s a good fan for the price.
Congratulations superfanman you made it to 10K subscribers and I can’t wait to see more content soon I definitely enjoyed this video of all the fan running in this awesome video great job 👏 and keep up the good work 😊
It’s going to be ten years on TH-cam for me next year of doing fan videos and I gotta think of a video to celebrate it. Oh and I haven’t seen that airoworks fan next to the blue super yet
the thrird part when you turned on the fans was satisfying
SuperFanMan, in this video the three winners on the parade are koldaire 8' electrohome box fan and windmere 16' oscillating fan

The electricity bill will be More than the price of all the fans combined.

At 5:04 about for the 1996 Super do you know the size of the screw in the oscillation pin?
I’m not sure at the moment. I’d have to take some measurements of the screw to determine the specs.
@@TheSuperFanMan Ok Thank You

@@TheSuperFanMan I just found the pin screw YOOOO lets go!!!!!
Congratulations @TheSuperFanMan ! That wiring looked like it'd trip the breaker.
Thank you! I had to measure the total current draw and luckily they were below 15 amps. The box fans came really close though, at around 14.3 amps lol
Congratulations mate you made it to 10k subscribers
Thanks! I can’t believe it even happened :)
TheSuperFanMan yeah it’s so cool isn’t it mate
Is there a fan brand or fan model you would recommend for desk use? I am looking on amazon but most are pretty meh.

Thank you! I’ll definitely keep the channel going with new videos. Hello from Canada!
Lovely fan❤❤❤
Thanks!
Wow... I wished I grew that fast like your channel 😭
Don’t give up though! The key is to keep going and put some good time and effort into it.
5:00 that 1998 super 12 inch pedestal fan has a worse spin down time than what it had 2 years ago
Yeah I never use that fan so it probably needs some oil lol.
TheSuperFanMan that would make sense because it is very yellowed
Yep. Also in this video, the oscillator was engaged, so there would have been additional load on the motor which in turn would slow it down faster.
TheSuperFanMan ooooh i see. My 1950 unbranded 10 inch desk fan does that.
Parabéns! Muito legal sua coleção!!
Congrats you made 10k subscibers
Thank you!
I will subscribe this video nice
Awesome :)
Oh yeah you got a new sub
Thanks for the sub :)
Hope you get a playbutton
Hopefully some day :)
Nice collection u got there

I’ve got a handful of fans I still need to film lol. I’ll try to have make videos on them this summer.
Darren78 you got a fan from the 1960s? I just got mine
This is one of your best video's!
6:34 i love that part lol, imagine sleeping in that room with all of those fans on it would be great.
Thanks! That would be a wild experience lol.
Old fans have the longest spindown
Yep, that's largely due to the heavier metal blades.
@@TheSuperFanMan lol

Those are pretty cool. I've come across a few but I'm still searching to find one in perfect condition.
The only hard to maintain is to oil the fans.
