    Might be the most beautiful FH stroke I have ever seen, regardless of gender. That's the one I've decided to copy from now on.

    Thank you for adding English subtitles! I really hope they continue to do this going forward since I've learned so much from this channel without even knowing what they're always talking about.

    Such a lovely stroke in ultra slow motion ! Easy to see the legs and hips at work as well as the right sided takeback. Amazing idea to imagine eyes on your hips !

    Great FH. That s the form and concept I teach the FH. Love her take back, hip loading and explosion. The concept of martial arts, applies in tennis too.

    Excellent instruction! I love this academy and I learn a lot from it. Risa Ozaki is one of my favorite pros to learn from. Her groundstroke technique is exceptional, especially her forehand which as stated is the exact same as a ATP Men’s forehand technique! Thanks for the great content and instruction!

    I would love to know how she strengthens the core, hips etc, as she said she specifically trains that move. Is it with medicine ball? Explosive or slow? Her core looks so good when she hits.

    Hips, hips, hips, very happy to hear a pro explain it the right way. All other instructors talk about turning your shoulders, but that's totally the wrong way of looking at it, it's the hips that turn the shoulders!

    Great fh shape fh. Fluid & compact at once. Loved it!. Denies that all the pros just hit by automatation. Some councious level of doing some things is needed at least during training.

    I really enjoy your channel! I really like the amount of detail that you go into, especially on how a player grips the racquet. Most people don't seem to give it much thought but it 's really interesting because everybody seems to do it a little different and it can have a huge impact on your strokes.

    Well, just like in golf you generate the power thru sequence or kinetic chain where you load from shifting your weight to the right and unload and accelerate the swing to the left using your hips first and your arms and wrist second. This sequence creates a whippy like motion wherein you can generate power with less effort.

    I wanted to see her backhand.
    forehand is very similar to how the guys use it.
    which is nice seeing a girl use that style.
    i would of liked to know why she prefers a thick grip over the popular thin grip tho.
    Bring her back! another episode on her backhand/serve!

    • @samsnow7370

      Forehand is good ... ... like the guys .. but instructors where i teach teach things I don't like... I have a fantastic 2 hander.. but always had used a one hand backhand. I like my 2 hander better.

  • @bgdn5

    Forehand is very easy to produce, especially if you love dogs. Tap the head of the dog behind you on your right with an outstretched hand and you're ready to go!

    • @miguelbarahona6636
      @miguelbarahona6636 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Nick from Intuitive Tennis and Tomaz from Feel Tennis say that tapping the dog is the worst advice for a fluid forehand.

    • @bgdn5
      @bgdn5 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@miguelbarahona6636 They both dislike dogs. But you and they are right: the "tap position" does not have to be fixed at all! This is just a very important moment within the whole movement when creating a forehand! But in explaining to yourself and to any beginner, it is very picturesque to indicate the starting point when the right hand changes the direction of movement. The goal, of course, is not to tap the dog, but to direct the heel of the racket towards the ball.

    That is an absolutely awesome forehand. I cringed at the discussion of all the different take-backs. Don't want her to even think about any of those. They are so complicated but hers is so simple. Great model for everyone to copy for a semi-western or western grip forehand. She hits the bejeezus out of it.
